Ralph, What is a manual system? Not sure if that would be in my budget but I would love to get away from my wooden blocks - Ray I would strongly recommend HWH levelers. Best option you can add for many reasons. I have the unit on my 08 27' RB. The control is both auto and manual. Control is mounted...

Suggest Chevy HHR, small, light and easy to tow. All you need is to put it into neutral and remove 1 fuse. No shift pattern to mess with. No matter which vehicle you select. Consider the Ready Brake Brute system which includes tow bar and brake system. All mechanical, no electronics, no box to insta...

Laker, I assume Born Free will be exhibiting some of their Class C models at the FMCA Rally in Perry, GA in March 2014. The reason I think so is because they have it listed in their 2014 Schedule of Events on their website at the following clikable website link: http://www.bornfreerv.com/#calendar-...

Born Free @ FMCA in GA in March?

Does anyone know if Born Free is going to have any exhibit and coaches on display @ FMCA in GA in March?

I would enjoy seeing liquid springs up close.

I sent an email to BF to see if they were going to be at FMCA, but have not yet received a response.

Using an Apple IOS might help. :). As a long time 1984 Mac user, I do have a bias. Presently, I access the site with an iMac G3, iPhone 5S or iPad mini retina. In all cases, the new web site is painfully slow. It is far too glitzy and the photos take too long to load. I and I think other users want ...

When I bought my used BF, one of the two overhead map lights, the bulb was missing. In comparing to the one remaining, it is a #1141. I have tried several times, but cannot get a replacement to fit. It is the bayonet style bulb. Any suggestions on how to replace. Guess my old chubby fingers might no...

I don't have any idea, but I love mine. It is the most comfortable bed I have used in an RV. Also great to prop up to watch TV, but I rarely do that. Also, easy to access the under bed storage. In looking at Born Free, it is a must for me and much prefer it to the 2 captains chairs and table setup.

It will all depend on dates and costs. Dates would be flexible as I am semi-retired.

Being a single, solo trip might be hard, but this is one on my "bucket" list.

Thanks

Propane tank "tee" to use for gas grill

Any suggestions on how best to run a gas line from the built in LP tank to a gas grill? I have looked at the "Camco 59103 RV Propane Brass Tee with 3 Ports and 12' Hose" as a possibility. It does look like I would remove the cover on the regulator on the tank on the coach to install this &...

Definitely a third party hitch mounted spare. Just guessing, but the blue color might be plastic covering polished chrome, so may not be a bad match. Bill I would agree. Probably just the covering. I have toured the Phoenix Cruiser factory in Elkhart IN. It would take much more then the built in sp...

Looks like a third party add-on. For $177,000 you would think they would at least paint it to color match the coach.

Insulated window covering

Looking for what insulated foil material and sizes people have used to make window coverings to retain the interior heat in the winter and / or reflect the sun in the summer. I know there must be previous posts, but I find the search tool on this forum to not be compatible with my limited computer s...

ReadyBrute Elite

I tow a 2007 Chevy HHR. I just got into this issue this summer. I would highly recommend the ReadyBrute Elite system. http://www.readybrake.com/tow-bars.html It is simple in function with no electronics in the brake system to worry about. The 8000# tow bar is light and easy to handle. By having the ...
