Re: Side Wall Separation

Thanks Old Fashioned, he indicated the problem areas that has pulled away are along the top seam and bottom. I did have some floor rotting in the lower one side of the BF and had the floor repaired. Have had several major issues making me regret the purchase but I still love the BF!

Re: Replacement Generator and battery shroud needed

Thank you Dallas, that is exactly what is happening to my old coach. The carpeted wall in the storage under my couch is getting wet. I re-caulked and filled in the gap right above that but it did not stop the leak. Then when I took it out to a new service agent I basically told me all over the coach...

Re: Side Wall Separation

This is a reply to an older post. I took my BF in for pre-winter inspection and was told that my sidewalls have separated from the coach in many places. All along the top and bottom on most of both sides. The one area that seems to still be good is the nose cone and overhead compartment. They are qu...

Re: Replacement Generator and battery shroud needed

I am working on the area as well and hope to get a repair shop to "bracket" it up tighter. That whole area has dropped a bit from the body of the coach.

Re: Born Free 4x4

Good Find and will be interesting if they get that price! I looks to be pretty amazing! I wonder if it was white originally?

Re: advice on sale

I have never used them but options might be RVTRADERS.com, RVUSA.com and RVT.com. I was watching those site when I was trying to buy my BF.

Re: Counter Top Upgrade

Thanks I will need to work on it. I had a major repair done and I am guessing they didn't line it back up to the roll bar when they re-installed it.

Re: Counter Top Upgrade

That looks just super, good job! Did you have any trouble putting back the plexiglass frame/splash guard to the right of the kitchen sink? My screw from the wood trim on the wall keeps pulling out. I can't feel that it is screwed into anything back there?

Re: RSB Owners

My bed setup in my RSB is to use an Aerobed airbed for my bed. I also use the suspenders to keep on my mattress pad cover. My most recent sheets are deep and they seem to stay on ok but it helps to keep the pad in place. I have one of the mattress pads with a combo of memory foam and quilted batting...

Re: Michelin Agilis tires

I asked that same question on a post with the titled " Post subject: Re: Michelin Defender - Any feedback?" and didn't get any response. I am planning on replacing my tires this spring and was trying to learn more about whether the Agilis would be a better option. I will watch to see if yo...

Re: BILL HEMME RETIRES

I echo Dallas's comments. I too want to thank Bill for all his wisdom. As a new single BF owner a few years ago, I have found Bill's comments and guidance throughout the forum to be so helpful for me to learn the ins and outs of owning the RV. It has helped me so many times to read the comments and ...

Re: How long on your batteries

Thanks for the info on the 6 volt. I have a bit of time before I need to worry about it. Was thinking about plans for when I need to buy batteries again!

Re: How long on your batteries

So do the two 6v Trojan batteries wired in series take up the same space as two 12 volt batteries and give the same amount of power over time? Can the modification be done from the pull out battery drawer or is more wiring or work needed?
