The first Class C ??

I an trying to understand the history of Born Free.
I saw this picture for sale on Ebay:
A 1976 Ford Born Free RV Truck Photo
Is this basically what the first Born Free Class C Motorhome looked like?
Shows on a Chevy? Any other chassis? Ford? Dodge?

That probably would have been one of the first after the pickup campers. That's a Ford chassis, BTW.
