Smart Tile Video

Post by stevek »

I keep thinking about installing these.
If anybody has Smart Tile, how are they holding up and are they sticking OK?
Thanks

Steve,

Do a search on 'Smart Tile'. There have been several posts on this forum on that subject.

We did Smart Tiles last year and love them. They hold up nicely. They really add a lot to the kitchen area. It took more time than we thought it would so allow extra time. There were a lot of small cuts and get a few extra just in case.

Good luck..

Question for Jo or anyone else who has done a Smart Tile kitchen install ...

The back wall of our 2005 BF is slightly textured. Smart Tile website says not to install on textured surfaces. Were your walls textured or smooth? If textured, did it affect how the tile job looked and is it still sticking okay? I sure like the looks of the pictures posted here!

Thanx, Gail Coleman

Hi Gail,

Our walls were smooth. I suppose it would depend how deep your texture is. I hope you can figure out a way to install them, they look wonderful.

Good luck..

If you go to the Smart Tile website, you can order a sample for a small fee.
That way you can check out the "stickem" :D for yourself and try it on your wall.
Good luck. Let us know.

Thanx! I emailed manufacturer with a picture of wall & will post what I find out. I do have some samples already, Steve, so will try your suggestion. And I will be bummed out if not able to use the Smart Tiles, Jo. Your pics looked great! Gail

ONE DAY only.....Today, Home Depot has a large selection of Smart Tile 10% OFF. Looks like they come in a 6 pack.
Should be free shipping?

Well, I order a 6 pack. Actually was 20% off. About $38 w/ taxes, free shipping to my home. So about $6 a sheet.
Will let you know how I like it :D
There main thing I am concerned about, if it "sticks real good" and stays "stuck"!! long-term.

So far our Smart Tiles have stayed on really well. I'm not sure about any of the other stick on tiles.

Enjoy, they make a nice difference in your coach..

Just a follow up to the Smart Tile "sticking" questions.........we live in the HOT desert and the tiles are showing no sign of letting go - kitchen & bath areas done. Really dresses up the rolling condo!
