This is a question on slides. Does anyone have a coach with them and what has been your experience. I have owned two none slide Born Frees and might consider slides in this one but also like the keep it simple idea.

We have a 2015 Royal Splendor with a slide. No problems at all in 23,000 miles. We really appreciate the extra room provided by both the slide and the wider and taller body on the diesel chassis.

Just a caution, you will lose the storage under the couch and I don't know about the under bed storage. Larger items are more difficult to store or bring along.

I wondered about that. Thanks for the heads up.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a breed of dog. It is the reason we got our first Born Free as a dog taxi so we could be gone longer by taking them with us.

A cav is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a small wonderful dog. We bought our first Born Free in 2004 so that we could travel with our first Cavalier, Oliver. Oliver went to the rainbow bridge this last August at 13 and 1/5 years old, after about 140,000 miles in Born Free coaches. We still have his brother Monty for as long as the fates allow. I need to change our signature, just haven't been able to. We miss him.

I feel your pain. We had two ourselves, half-siblings. The tricolor male, Khan, died three years ago at 7 of renal failure. I still miss the little guy. We still have his Blenham sister, Lady Rae, and she's ten this year. We picked up a male Blenham a year and a half ago from a rescue in Minneapolis. He's smart enough that if he had opposable thumbs, he'd have run for President in the last election. His name is Sir Winston.

Part of the reason we have the two mohos is exactly the same as you; we travel with them rather than having to kennel them. Cavailiers don't do well being kenneled for any length of time.
