Retrofit coach door to keyless entry?
Has anyone done a retrofit on their coach door to switch the keyless entry? I'm curious if there is a particular brand and model that is a direct replacement that does not require much work?

Re: 5 Star Tuning...my 2 cents
I completely agree with you. We have the exact same coach that you do and I can tell you that the tune was the single best investment I have ever made on this coach. The impact to the driving experience is noticeable and very positive. For driving in any condition other than flat plains, the tune is...

Re: New ProClip USA mounting option for Ford E-series
Yes ProClip stuff is fairly expensive but in my limited experience it's well made stuff. I think it's got to be the development cost of making stuff that is specific to a vehicle and to a device rather than it being universal.

New ProClip USA mounting option for Ford E-series
ProClip has the new device mounting option for the E-Series chassis. The mount replaces the existing coin slot and the empty compartment to the left of it with one solid mounting piece. I like this option because it puts an electronic device right where it needs to be for navigation. Link: http://ww...

Re: Has anybody modified Batt. Compartment for 6 Volt Batts?
I had two 6V Lifeline AGM batteries put in when we ordered our coach from the factory. The actual battery compartment works fine with the original sliding tray using the two AGM batteries. What didn't work was the height of the compartment at the "top lip" of the compartment where the door...

Chirping from the cabover area just above the windshield
I am experiencing a chirping type squeak that occurs regularly with any normal, repetitive road vibrations that would cause the cabover to vibrate. This does not require a large, abrupt jarring from a pothole or pavement joint, etc. This is just normal road vibrations. I've attached a photo for refe...

Re: Fresh water inlet fills tank?
The gauge seems to be fine because I can physically see the water tank and it had definitely gone from 25% to 75% over the course of a day. It must be the backflow preventer on the pump as others have indicated here. Thanks all.

Re: Fresh water inlet fills tank?
I'm looking at the fresh water diagram in the manual and it appears that the city inlet has a direct connection to the fresh water tank through the water pump. Can water flow backwards through the pump?

Fresh water inlet fills tank?
I am camping this weekend and used my fresh water tank until is was 25% full. At that point I hooked up a hose with a pressure reducer inline. Pressure reducer is working. This morning I woke up to find my fresh water tank to be 75% filled. Is it designed this way somehow? This made me nervous about...

Re: Does anybody have advice on getting ready for a trip ?
We wouldn't travel long distances ideally but I feel like that is really a stage of life issue more than anything else. As working parents with school age children, we have very distinct windows of travel. If our goal is to explore new places and we have a defined window of time that we can travel w...

Re: 7 way or 6 way connector
That should be easy enough to verify as soon as I can get to my storage unit. So, until then just so I can get a plan B in place, I have once pulled a UHaul trailer connected to the 7 pin and had functioning brake lights and turn signals so, that seems to suggest to me that I for sure can use magnet...

Re: 7 way or 6 way connector
When you say that most Born Frees don't have the 12V DC terminal connected what does that mean? Does that mean that there is a 7 way round connector present but they didn't terminate 12V DC in that connector?

Re: 7 way or 6 way connector
Thanks. I appreciate it. I'm setting up my first TOAD - a 2013 Ford Focus automatic trans. It requires a negative battery terminal disconnect and from things I've read on various forums I'm really concerned about using the car's electrical system in any way to power lights or a braking system. My cu...

7 way or 6 way connector
My coach is in storage so I can't check this myself. In terms of the trailer connector on the back of a 2013 BF, do I have a 7 way or 6 way connector?
