We have had very good success with "Woolite Spot & Stain Carpet Cleaner" also called "Woolite OXY DEEP". Should cost about $5 for a 22 Fl oz spray bottle. Please follow the directions on the lable.

Try using a contact cleaner on the thermostat contacts. Lacking a cleaner, use a clean sheet of copy paper and run it between the contacts serveral times.

Have you tried "Fabric Softener Sheets"? We use them inside the Born Free and does an effective job. It may work in the various outside compartments as well.

You should check with your local Chevrolet dealer about the chassis.
I believe the new 2010 unit has a Flex Fuel 6.0L V-8 with a new six speed transmission. You should confirm that with Born Free at Clermont.
