Re: I got locked out of my BF, 3 rd time!

Just curious, when were the keyless door entries offered on the Born Free?
Was it standard, or an option? Does this kind of lock, still have the old fashion key/ backup. Thanks

Re: I got locked out of my BF, 3 rd time!

Thanks. I did not realize I can disable the auto lock feature. I looked at my owners manual and yes I can. I will think about it. Plus I did a hide a key. Another place to get locked out is the side door. Assume you lock both outside locks on the side door. From the inside you unlock the side door u...

I got locked out of my BF, 3 rd time!

This about the 3rd time it's happened. I am driving. Side door is fully locked. Stop and park. Exit the drivers door and walk around and unlock side door. Close side door. Leave unlocked. Leave drivers door unlock. Go for short walk, come back and everything is locked up! What happened? Moral to sto...

Re: Radio upgrade and electrical build out questions

A number of years ago I added to my stock radio, a DC power switch; to switch from engine batt to house batts and still works. I also added a Trik-L-Start which ties the house batteries to the engine battery Maybe this was redundant? I do not think they make the Trik-L-Start anymore. Anybody know wh...

Re: Moisture in walls?

Do a pressure test and pressurize the inside of the motorhome. Use soapy water and see where the leaks are at.

Re: Electric Countertop Burner - Recommendation?

Thanks...good info. I will have to look at a purchase and try this induction cooking, first hand. I know a few years back, I saw a new class B that had no chassis mounted propane tank. Relying heavily on solar and can remember it had an induction cooking system rather than a propane kitchen stove, l...

Re: Just drop Lithium batts in: w/o changing anything else?

Interesting. I have not heard anything of the 12 volt Lithium batts catching on fire. That is certainly something to consider. Thanks Anybody else heard of RV Fires??? I have a Chevy Bolt EV and had to have the battery replaced. A few of these cars were catching fire which made me somewhat uneasy. I...

Just drop Lithium batts in: w/o changing anything else?

I was reading todays issue 2/9/23 of "Mortons On The Move" and about switching my 2- 12 volt house batteries to Lithium. Maybe I read it wrong; but yes, nothing needs to be changed. May not get 100% performance? Any comments please? I see Lithium batteriers continue to come down in price. ...

Re: Looking for information for the front twin bed option.

Just curious, are the twins full size or cot size? Thanks. There is a recent video of a BF where the lady removed the jack knife couch/bed and replaced it with a full size twin bed. She reused the wooden fecade that bolted on the original bed frame. Video does not show construction, but you can get ...

Re: Pivoting Table Information

I Purchase purchased a Lagun Table a number of years ago, but have still NOT installed it. I found the way the Lagun is built, I was limited to where I could locate it and find a place to attach to a wall on my BF. Also if you go one Ebay, you will find some knockoffs at a lesser price.

What do you think of a 100 Watt Solar on my Dash?

And plugging it into my dash cigarette lighter? I have notice the flexible 100 watt solar panels have gotten cheaper and smaller. Only about a 1/8 inch thick. I have a Trick-L-Start already installed which ties my house Batteries to my engine Batt. I would just lay the solar panel on my dash, no dri...
