I had a similar problem, but it was near the tank and the outlet tube- I dried the tank out and used epoxy but it leaked again. I applied epoxy again, but went a step further- I got one of those black rubber hollow gaskets (6") from Home Depot, cut a slit and put around the tube with the slit on top...

I usually either tow my 4x4 Tracker convertible (i.e. "Poor Man's Jeep") or my 12x6' Pace trailer, with my motorcycle inside. It's like having a small garage behind you, and holds my gear, outdoor stuff, etc. My bike is about 400 lbs., and easy to roll on or off. I've been riding for 20 years, and a...

Hi Kent0826: I am pulling out tonight to go to a rally in Virginia Beach, and am towing my Pace Trailer with a motorcycle inside. I have a BF 26RSB, and there has not been a problem yet. So far, I keep the trailer hooked up to the BF, and have become proficient in backing it up when needed (practice...

Hi John- I took that way (Rt 13) towards Florida two years ago in the Born Free. Frank is right- it is beautiful going over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. However, there are alot of traffic lights and small towns to go through. Route 13 becomes 17 in North Carolina. Then it really got slow and me...

Hi John- Nice meeting you and Maureen at the NJ Rally-thanks for the chocolate bar! Going around Baltimore- you are right- no RV's with propane allowed in the two tunnels. From 95 South, take the Baltimore Beltway (695) East, towards Dundalk. You will pay 2 bucks (in cash or EZPass) to go over the F...

After many years of lugging around propane grills, I now use an electric George Foreman Grill - place it on a table under the awning, and plug it in.
Stores easily- no fuss, no muss. :D

I noticed that the recent tornadoes that recently ravaged central Florida went right through where our rally is located. Any news of damage to the camping ground, or the roads leading in and out? My heart goes out to all those people who lost everything.

I used to be married, and lived in coupledom and associated with other couples for many years. I am now a widow and have had my BF for 18 months now. Before that, my first RV experience was a 17' Casita and I went to several Casita Rallys. With the BF, the only event I have been to so far was the Li...

Hope someone can help me. I installed a Sharp Aquos LCD TV on the closet wall , hooked up to the DVD player and the Directv receiver. All are powered by an inverter. I would really like better, louder sound when watching movies. Circuit City says I have to get a Surround Sound System with AMP, and t...

Hi John- I live in NE Maryland- not that far away from you. Regarding storage, I bought a Chair Carrier from Camping World. It installs on the rear ladder. I carry two lounge chairs and a table, with a bungee cord hooked around to the ladder. I use a lightweight patio mat, which is folded and stored...

Hi Lassen- I bought the handheld radio and CB antenna at Camping World, and they installed it. The antenna they used is only about 2 feet high, and is attached to the outside of the window above the cab. Works well. The cost was around $100 for the CB, antenna (it was on sale), and $137 to install b...
