Re: A sad day, Nada Pricing and Thank you

One-hundred percent agreement with Dallas. Asking a seller to falsify sales price to benefit buyer's tax burden is asking you to participate in fraud. Not doing business with such folks.
Happy trails.

Finally! Another Born Free

No BF sightings in 2700 beautiful miles through California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Alberta, British Columbia, Washington, and now finally parked in next campsite is BF, Creekside Park in Sisters, Oregon. Nobody home, but we'll connect later. We had many, many inquiries about our BF along the way. H...

Re: Hydraulic leveling

HWH brand. First warranty repair/replace at factory in Moscow, Iowa (on a cross-country trip). All four solenoids were leaking. Six months later (with a dozen uses), pump had to be replaced, authorized and paid by BF. A dozen or so more uses and now failed again. The jacks don't descend.

Hydraulic leveling

After two factory & warranty repairs, they are frustratingly yet again inoperative. Now giving up and relying on yellow Lego blox for leveling. Back to basics; would not recommend these hydraulics.

Thanks for the heads-up, Bill. We will check in with Kim for review of our BF's equipment. Still novices here.

Anyone have experience installing/using this unit in a Born Free (in our case, a 2014, 23-ft Freedom).

Repair shop recommendations --current?

Troubleshooting our battery/electrical issues with 2014 Freedom. Probably need some professional expertise. Any recommendations or cautions in California/Oregon? (The forum lists are outdated.) Thanks.

Canadian campground recommendations

Planning July trip from Sacramento, California to Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper Nat'l. Park, Alberta, Canada. Any suggestions for particular Canadian campsites welcome. Also, are there online forums for travel recommendation requests such as this one? We use and like Allstays and RV Trip Wizard for...

Rand McNally Navigation

Wondering if anyone has experienced this message on navigation screen: "WARNING, FOR YOUR SAFETY VIDEO SCREEN BLOCKED"? We used the system quite succesfully on cross-country trip last fall, and this is a recent dilemma. Doesn't matter if we're moving or parked, doesn't change no matter how...

Wee Beastie (the second). Not sure how the name evolved, but even the crew at storage facility call her that.
Happy trails.

LED strip lights blinking

Learned how to stop our LED strip lights from blinking (thanks, Kim)...on the remote, depress "up" and "down" buttons simultaneously. Problem solved.

Re: Born Free/Lazydays

We have reservations for the Tucson rally. Looking forward to "siting"lots of Bornfree Frees, as we almost never find them on the road/campgrounds on our trips. Wild turkeys? How about two stray elephant seals on the beach near our Costanoa KOA this weekend?!! State park signs warned all t...

Re: Anybody BF owners belong to the Escapees?

Yes, we joined Escapees. Have not attended their rallies--just Born Free ones on West Coast. We did get several RV Park discounts with Escapees membership--in a couple cases, slightly better than GoodSam or AAA discounts. Maybe at an Escapees rally, they would group the BF coaches together. Good inf...
