I, as usual, waffled with my earlier Hazardous Cargo statement. Propane tanks are prohibitd in the Boston tunnels.

For a direct response from the Mass highway department see:

I second the above two posts about driving in Boston!

You should also be aware that the I-93 tunnels through Boston are HAZMAT tunnels. I think these are closed to RV's with propane tanks.

It is against the law to drive any RV on any Parkway in the Northeast as far as I know. The signage may be miserable and vague, but that doesn't alter the law alas!

The "wood" is very likely plywood with a relatively thin surface veneer. I suspect the entire veneer layer is stained so that by the time you sanded enough to remove the stain you've also removed all of the decent looking wood. I had a similar stain beneath my refrigerator near the floor. ...

If you have the same oak I have on my 2005 rear bath, it's just poly on RED oak. I made a shelf using the above and it's a perfect match.

On our 2005 24RB the toilet and bath sink drain into the BW tank and the shower and the kitchen sink drain into the GW tank. If you did the dishes in the kitchen before the water showed up in the shower, it sounds like the GW tank was full. It is possible, of course, that there is some sort of block...

I agree with Larry's remarks about refinishing the oak but would emphasize his remarks about being careful to remove all the steel wool residue. The iron in the steel wool residue will, in time, react with the tannins in the oak and produce rather disgusting black spots. I read a remark by a woodwor...

I had mine repaired by shipping to the factory posted on the on the Born Free Motorcoach Service FAQ's page. Had no problems and the service was relatively quick and inexpensive as I recall. Quote from the above webpage: "The strings of the Day/Night shades are assembled in an intricate pattern...

Chris: I did the sort of thing you are thinking about a few years ago for the radio on our 2005 RB and so far we've had no problems. On our radio there are two power lines to the radio. The first for the amplifier, speakers, etc. is switched on and off by the cab ignition switch. The other for the m...

We stayed at Ocean Waves Campground near Waves, NC in the early spring some years ago. Nice Place and somewhat less expensive than others in the area at that time.

My wife's standard suggestion is to get a magnet, so I'll pass the usually useless suggestion along.

I've seen these long, adjustable rods with a magnet on the end. Such a thing might work. Or just duct tape a magnet to the end of a long stick.

In any event, lots of luck with a %^^$y job.
