Selling our BF
Hi all, Unfortunately we're going to be selling our 2004 26'RB due to health problems and of course the age old question "How do we figure out what the value is". We have put a lot into it. It has 62,000 miles a new tranny, fly wheel, radiator, rear camera, electric awning, totally new bra...

Re: Using Meguiar's wax on an RV's roof
My husband has been working on our coach but he feels that it's only making it shine and not protecting it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what type of stuff they use on their coach? He has also had trouble buffing it out. Seems to be leaving streaks like crazy. He used Meguires marine polish. ...

Re: Letter from new Born Free President & CEO Jeff Butler
I think Ray should be allowed back on this site as well if he wants to rejoin. He's an asset to the forum. Time to let the past be and welcome him back !

Re: Letter from new Born Free President & CEO Jeff Butler
If I recall Ray was a paying member of the Leapin Lions, Sam was not. It was to bad that Ray got banned from the site. He alway had good information and ideas. We spent some time with him at the rally's and he is a dedicated BF owner. It was sad when he could no longer contribute. We are a passionat...

Re: Alternate chair idea
The rolling stool is a great idea. We removed a chair as well to have more floor space and I bought a collapsible footstool/box to sit on. It works great and we store our shoes in it. My thinking when we add or put something in our coach is it has to have multiple uses. So my footstool can be used a...

Re: How is BF 26'RB floor plan diff. from 24' RB ?
We have a 26'RB with a cabover bed. In our clothes closet we have 2 doors for clothing, 2 sets of drawers and a long hanging closet. I think that's where they addvthe space from what I've seen from others..

Born Free sighting
We saw a Born Free heading east on I90 around mile marker 290 in South Dakota. Does this sound familiar to anyone on the site? It's always fun to see a BF while traveling. We see so few.

Re: Should I have an Inverter
We use our inverter all the time. In fact we turn it on when we hit the road. We use it for charging items as well as our TV and DVD player. I don't know what we'd do without it.

Re: E450 Rear Brake Failure
Curt just replaced both side rear rotor, seals, calipers, bearings and brake pads a few weeks ago. It cost us a couple of hundred dollars for parts. It's a big job, but they work great.
Good luck Bill.

Re: 2nd New Tranny
Chuck, I'm so glad our experience helped out. They did put a bigger pan on our new transmission. The guy in Alabama said it was for more fluid capacity. I guess we'll see. Curt just did a total brake job on the rear, rotors, calipers etc so they should be good. Our coach has 53,000 miles on it. Hope...
