Leveling Block Rubber Pads

In an effort to prevent our leveling blocks from sliding on concrete & asphalt, I cut some rubber pads to place under the blocks. Purchased a 1/2" thick horse stale rubber pad (3' x 4') at Tractor Supply. Cost approximately $35. Pad size 32" x 9" along with a 2" x 9" str...

I used the Dicor sealant when I recently installed a Winegard antenna. Has held well for 2+ years since installation.

Re: RV Newbie got really lucky. Plenty of questions.

Regarding the smoke smell, try placing 4-6 plastic containers with 4-5 charcoal briquets around the couch. I like using a parmesan cheese (8oz) container with opening lid. Put a couple briquets in each compartment of the refrigerator as well. The charcoal will slowly absorb some of the smell. Purcha...

Re: Need ideas to repair awning foot support bracket

We had a similar issue with a loose awning bracket resulting from a water leak and rotten floor. Repaired the floor in the same manner with liquid epoxy (Git Rot). The water leak originated at the horizontal seam above the front cone window. Re-sealed the horizontal seam with 3M 4000 sealant/adhesiv...

Re: Antenna

We recently installed a Winegard Sensar IV on our 26RSB. A Winegard roof wedge and 2 interior ceiling wedges were utilized to get the antenna near level when raised. Since I used the roof wedge, the existing roof hole did not have to be enlarged. The instructions state to install the antenna so the ...

Re: Safe-T-Plus Steering Stabilizer

An update:

I had to replace the original sway bolts with longer bolts. The 3/8" thick stabilizer bracket is mounted under the sway bar bracket, so the original bolts hardly got a bite on the threads in the frame, The bolts are metric. Bolts are available at both Ace & True Value Hardware.

Re: Hitch Question

Checkout Tractor Supply. They have an assortment of receiver hitch extensions and a couple receiver drops as well. May have to combine a couple pieces to achieve your desired outcome. Keep in mind that by utilizing an extension, the sticker on the extension will likely state that the towing capacity...

Re: What powers what?

We had a similar problem with our refrigerator. The fridge would work on propane, but when plugged into the shore power, it would not run. After several repair attempts, it was determined that the original converter (AC -120V to 12V-DC) was not producing the required voltage to power the fridge cont...

Re: LP Gas Generator not starting

We have a propane generator as well. I am assume you are priming the generator with the inside switch as well. The switch has two positions, priming/stop and start/run. We prime our generator every time we start it with the inside switch. There is also a switch by the generator and also prime it whe...

Re: Sail Switch

I recently replaced our sail switch. Turn off all power and pull the furnace fuse. Also turn off the propane and bleed the propane through the stove. Through the side access panel under the RSB, the furnace wires are located in a wire wrap. The wires have plug ends, so simply unplug the wires, notin...
