Re: Mud flaps
How is it possible to remove the old and replace with the new? Do you have to pull the dual wheels?

Re: Mud flaps
Ahh, Ben! Thanks! I AM interested. I have one truck-supply local company I've yet to visit to "see"? if they would/could (and at what price?) make a pair to fit. But this is very interesting. I could do that. BUT...what is the material they are made of? Do you know? The broken one on our's...

Mud flaps
I have a broken white mud flap - brittle, brakes easily by just pinching it. Camping World was no help. Said they would have to order. Where is a reliable source for flexible mud flaps for at 26' rear corner bed, 2002 model? Now with Born Free disbanded, finding parts, "things" for the Bor...

Re: Replacing running lights on 2002 26' Rear bed.....
WELL, again I have to say a big THANK YOU for this explanation. I've printed all this off. I can't physically climb up there, and have no personal "knowledge and understanding" of all the details you guys are sharing; but perhaps I can find someone who WILL and DOES and can do "someth...

Re: Replacing running lights on 2002 26' Rear bed.....
Two things I did not like about that video showing how to replace a marker light. He used Eterna Bond Tape and silicone sealer to mount the new light. Both products are extremely hard to remove if he should have any future problems with the light. I have always used the putty tape for mounting stuf...

Re: Replacing running lights on 2002 26' Rear bed.....
Yes, may partner and I sold the Beech S35 Bonanza about 1-1/2 years ago since he was moving to South Dakota. So I then joined a flying club that has a 1979 Piper Dakota that you see in my signature. I took me awhile to get used to the loss of 30 knots of airspeed! At least you can fly still. A good...

Re: Replacing running lights on 2002 26' Rear bed.....
If the bulbs still work, and it's just the amber or red lens cover you need, you should be able to find them online... and likely from multiple sources. RV dealers may have them, as will large truck stops. It's been a long time since I sold my '01 23RK, but it seems like it had Bargman clearance li...

Replacing running lights on 2002 26' Rear bed.....
Don't laugh. We've not died. It's the real me typing this. Long time no-RVing activity....lots of issues. Now I have a broken red and one broken amber running light. All new replacements I can find are wired with two wires (Black & White). Our RV has only a single (1) line to a single bulb. Are ...

Carpet cleaning
What is a proven (best) (?) and recommended way or Company or product to use in cleaning the carpet in the Born Free? This trip to Montana with rain and very gusty wind and dust camping in the mountains, along with our 2 year old Cairn Terrier, Bailey, (I'm sure my dirty shoes brought in NO dirt wha...

Bob Newby Oceano, CA Rally
As a "newby" to any rally, Bonnie and I were so very happy we decided to try-on this Pacific Dunes RV Resort Rally, director Bob Newby and his lovely, sweet-as-apple-pie wife, Carol, organized. What a great bunch of Leapin' Lions! We enjoyed every minute, and appreciated the hands-on direc...
