Re: Leak fixed, new leak, and misfire
Kevin, You're my hero! I just found my leak and it was at the junction of the drivers drip rail and vertical seam. After literally digging out the old sealant water poured out of the gap. Your pictures are what I expected it might look like under there. I did quick fix Sunday by loading up the entir...

Re: Leak fixed, new leak, and misfire
Did you check the seal around the side window? I did, but it doesn't seem to be coming from there. I can see that it's entering on the drivers side vertical seam approx 1 foot down from the horizontal gutter seam. I know this means nothing because it could travel from somewhere else. The positive i...

Re: Leak fixed, new leak, and misfire
So frustrating! After locating a few potential leak spots I removed all old caulk, cleaned, and cleaned some more. Resealed with dicor and then was happy as can be because after several heavy rain storms I had zero leaks!!! A week goes by with great weather and then last night another heavy rain. It...

Re: Leak fixed, new leak, and misfire
I thought the same thing so I took the panel off the end where the water tank is and then filled the tank part way and turned on the pump to check all lines. Then I hooked up the hose to the city water and checked again. Not a drop and no signs of water traveling from that area to the carpet. What I...

Re: Leak fixed, new leak, and misfire
I don't think we would actually need a heated floor. Besides BF not offering it in the end, we've never thought it was needed, but then again we only camped in sub freezing temps 2, maybe 3 times. I have been looking at Marmoleum click tiles https://www.forbo.com/flooring/en-us/products/marmoleum/ma...

Re: Leak fixed, new leak, and misfire
Thanks! I'll be doing the leak test soon. Today I completely removed everything in the carpeted area including the carpet and padding. It's unfortunate but not really a bad thing. After 17 years I think it's okay to update the flooring since it's not terribly expensive to do.I'm 90% sure I found the...

Leak fixed, new leak, and misfire
Last time I posted I had fixed my rear top seam with excellent results and haven't had another leak from that area. Unfortunately we now have another leak that isn't obvious and is probably coming from one or more side seams. From the back forward to the carpeted area I'm completely dry but the carp...

Re: Our new Lagun table with pictures
I'd like to add that I'm extremely impressed with how sturdy the assembly is. Very well made, and we're always leary of spending hard earned money on something we've never seen except in pictures. This to us was worth every penny so far. Can't wait to take on a trip to see how it works camping. Righ...

Our new Lagun table with pictures
After converting to 2 Flex steel sofas we still needed to solve the table issue. Reusing the existing table because it matched the rest of the coach seemed like the right choice. So after making a mock up of the real Lagun table to make sure it would work I ordered the table leg assembly from Great ...

Re: Leak at drains by water heater.
Follow up from this morning. Still had leaks while gone but not too bad. I removed the valve stems and what I found was the leak was coming from the hex nut area not the stem. It looks like I was the first person to open these valves because the nut was actually corroded and fused to the stem. It's ...

Re: When it rains it pours
The source was definitely the seal that connects the 2 body pieces. We just got back and it rained hard and a lot, but my repair held and we didn't have another drop come in. As a temporary fix I used a metal roof/gutter sealant. It's made by DAP and its clear. Can be put down while wet and as low a...

Re: When it rains it pours
The cap isn't seperated. I just went up cleaned away about a 3 foot section, dried it up with towels, then put a make shift shelter over the seal and used a hair dryer for about 30 minutes to get it all as dry as possible. Then I layer down a bead of sealant. What I noticed was that there appears to...

When it rains it pours
Getting ready to leave this morning and the shower and bath area is soaking wet! Yesterday all was fine. I climbed the ladder and saw obvious separation of the seal above the shower joining the body shells. It's 40 degrees and drizzling and there is no way I can get a good seal of any kind and we ne...

Re: Leak at drains by water heater.
I did for the first time this Winter but not last year. Even though I put the anti freeze in we only had 2 nights where it was below freezing this year and they weren't back to back. You could be correct though and they are damaged from freezing. I think I will just bite the bullet after we're back ...
