Re: Television Changes

Dallas I would double check if you could still get hotspot unlimited data that is not throttled from Verizon/Visible. If you get throttled after the max data allotted I think it could interfere with streaming TV watching. I have been using T-Mobile "home internet" the past year or so with ...

Re: TPMS

I have been happy so far with the system I bought a couple of years ago. I have a EEZ-RV-TPMS6 for 6 tires. It is from www.eezrvproducts.com. I bought the anti theft locking covers but I am no actually using them and so far no problems. You don't want to keep an eye on them or rescue them when you a...

Re: Fiberglass repair after left rear tire blowout

I had a similar accident but with the inside dual. I was able to find an auto body shop about 1/2 hour away to do the fiberglass repair. As it went they did a good repair but didn't put the tail pipe back correctly. On the first trip out the exhaust blew inside the fiberglass and cracked their repai...

Re: Radio upgrade and electrical build out questions

I can't answer the details about the wiring but on my 2004 BF Ford I believe the cigarette lighter plug stays powered even when the engine is off. Can you run the radio to that supply?

Re: Leveling Block Rubber Pads

Yes I read somewhere when storing for long periods that it is better if the tires don't contact directly with the concrete which is what my rig is parked on. I tried bolting into the concrete but it didn't hold so I do have to realign them every once in a while!

Re: Leveling Block Rubber Pads

Great idea! I don't have levelers in my old coach but I did cut horse stall pads to put under tires when I park my BF at home!

Your tech will probably remind you but it is always recommended that you pour some pink stuff in the p traps of the sinks and showers.

Re: Need help determining price on a BFT

If you go to the main Bornfreeclub.org site and click on 'Know Your Coach' there is new section called 'Motocoach Sales Data' which has historical sales prices and data to review. Might be of help while you evaluate the price.

Re: Magnatek 7345 Charger/ Converter

You have more confidence in me than I do! Yes I was wanting to explore the option of the replacement PD4655V so that the batteries won't be overcharged. It is good to know that the install time won't be too long!

Re: Magnatek 7345 Charger/ Converter

William do you have any sense of how many hours it would take a service tech to install the Parallax 7345 Charger/Converter? I have thought about it but will have labor in addition to cost of the unit.

Re: rear wall construction for running camera wires

I have read of several that are installing a wireless camera on or near the back license plate. They pull power from that light and then the camera communicates wirelessly with the monitor in the front.

Re: Air Conditioner in extreme heat

A big thing to consider that an RV air conditioner only drops the temperature about 20 degrees from the temperature of the air going in. It reduces humidity of course but can't do too much more on actual temperature. If you air conditioner is working than getting a new unit probably won't help. When...

Re: Marshall Brass 2 Stage LP Regulator

My experience is I have been told that my propane tank on my 2004 coach does not need inspected. So far it has passed the propane drop tests at the service center and they said there is not much rust so I haven't had to replace the tank yet. My regulator is still performing ok so I can't answer that...

Re: mpg miles per gallon with Triton V-10

I am following this conversation since I have been frustrated by the low mileage on my 2004 26RSB. I don't tow but am fully loaded as to on-board weight. I don't drive over 65 and more commonly average 60. It I ever get 9 mpg I am ecstatic. I sit more commonly at 8.5 mpg. I had a fuel induction clea...
