Re: TV Antenna Advice
We replaced our antenna about two years ago with a King Jack and have been very satisfied with it. When camping in Hot Springs AR just after we got it, our neighbor boasted he was getting 3 stations. We got 8! We especially like the low profile design and not having to remember to retract it. Ours i...

Re: First Long Trip in Born Free Elsa
This was our solution to pantry slide and other cabinet doors bouncing open. The two panels under sofa particularly drove me crazy. These slide bolts came from local Ace Hardware and husband added the matching oak block.

Thanks, reassuring that it wasn’t a problem in past and thought I had seen every article on the subject but not the USA Today one. Gail

Re: Generator questions
Storing our 2005RB with ethanol gas in our Generac generator caused the carburetor to gum up. Symptoms were similar to yours. After trying to unsuccessfully to clean it, mechanic called manufacturer to learn that their carburetor could not be cleaned but must be replaced Very expensive lesson! ETHAN...

Re: Wintertime - 2002 RB 24 foot
We lived in our 2005 BF in NE Mississippi while building our house from Sept-Feb experiencing several hard freezes. We put a piece of attic insulation inside the outside access door to the water lines to shower & used either coach propane heater or small electric space heater with cabinet doors ...

Re: Please tell us your eclipse stories + a tip on viewing
Had made no Eclipse plans since were to be visiting son in Minneapolis but plans changed. Spur of the moment, we decided to head from the 90% eclipse in Oxford, MS to Tennessee's TOTALITY zone. Sunday morning started up the beautiful Natchez Trace & camped at David Crockett State Park in Lawrenc...

Re: Rv Superbag
We don't have the RSB model, but I can help with the sofa. Dimensions are appx. 65"L x 46W. In our BF, normally one of sleeps on sofa using the TWIN travasack. Occasionally we do both sleep on the sofa & we use the QUEEN Travasack from the cabover. Both will fit on the sofa, just depends on...

Re: Restring Shades
Search "restring shades" on this site for numerous posts on this subject including one with a link with diagram on how to restring yourself. Personally, I intend to send one of ours back to manufacturer for rest ringing. See post from Oct 26 2016 by Tahoe: "called Window Specialties a...

Re: Smart Tile Video
Thanx! I emailed manufacturer with a picture of wall & will post what I find out. I do have some samples already, Steve, so will try your suggestion. And I will be bummed out if not able to use the Smart Tiles, Jo. Your pics looked great! Gail

Re: Smart Tile Video
Question for Jo or anyone else who has done a Smart Tile kitchen install ... The back wall of our 2005 BF is slightly textured. Smart Tile website says not to install on textured surfaces. Were your walls textured or smooth? If textured, did it affect how the tile job looked and is it still sticking...

Re: Any tips to clean mounding around coach door?
Thank you, tevz32!!! Tried the paint thinner but it wasn't working as well had hoped so the husband said try lacquer thinner .... and it worked wonders. You are genius! Would have never thought a solvent would be the answer.

Any tips to clean mounding around coach door?
Help! Anyone out there able to recommend how to clean that vinyl molding that goes around the outside door? Scrub Free, Mr. Clean Magic Erasure Sponge & bleach not working for me. Did find rubbing compound helps but that would be long & tedious. Has anyone replaced theirs & if so, what d...
