Re: Generac Quietpact 40G Generator Removal?
Thanks Bill! I noticed today I had a different model number on my own Manual and a past owner wrote a serial number on the manual which was different than the serial number on a stick in the generator. As a result I was able to find the exact part number for the starter. I also got underneath and no...

Generac Quietpact 40G Generator Removal?
Hey folks, I think I have a dead starter on our Generac Quietpact 40G Gasoline RV Generator - located in a 2003 24RB. Since I can see the bottom of the generator - I assume the generator is hanging? Has anyone ever remove one of these? I can not access the starter motor with the generator in. I am n...

Re: New BF owner...holes in roof
Hello and welcome! Let me start by saying I think you have more experience that me in this area, I have never worked with fiberglass... but I will share my experience since I just removed my Delta about 2 weeks ago. I have a 2003 24RB. I used a product called Thiox Thickened Epoxy Adhesive, somethin...

Leak - Driver Side Floor?
Hey folks, We have a 2003 24RB. I noticed a new leak this week by the drivers feet. The carpet underneath the drivers floor mat was wet I pulled it up to dry and the pad underneath is really wet too. I think this carpet is normally glued down but the glue is all dried up from age. The under pad look...

Re: Graphics Removal
Thanks for the link to the Whizzy Wheel link, some folks suggested similar tools to me. I removed our Delta antenna last week and I have removed a Sat Dish in the past, it is amazing the nice shiny look underneath, I figure it might take a while for the colors to blend and fade. I do tend to polish ...

Graphics Removal
Hey folks, I know there are some things on the web about this for normal RVs.. but I was wondering if anyone has ever removed any of your Born Free graphics? Some of the ones on our 2003 are looking kind of tired and I have some letters missing in a few places. I know here on the forum there are som...

Tire Recommendations
Hey folks,
I have a 2003 - 24RB and it is time for tires.
The Michelin LTX M/S LT 225/75 R16 appear to not be as available anymore... alternative recommendations for other tires folks have purchased, used, and liked?

Re: Pantry slide not latching
Yup, 60 pound pull could work... if that doesn't you could also consider finding a nice clean looking latch on the outside. Done right I bet you could make it look pretty nice. I know you will need to pad out the wall side to make some of the latchs flush but a little wood stained the same color mig...

Re: Pantry slide not latching
Ah! I see, very different. Well what about some Cabinet Door Latch/RV Drawer Latches? My 2001 has these and I think the work pretty well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T4GP3YZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 In fact, I like them better then the metal ones on my 2003 24RB ...

Re: Pantry slide not latching
Hey Tom, I have fixed our pantry slide lock with a child safety catch lock similar to these: https://www.amazon.com/Dreambaby-Secure-Catches-Safety-Locks/dp/B016MPPDE4/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=safety+catches&qid=1580237998&sr=8-7 I usually find a box of them at Home Depot, Lowes, or Walmart. You ...

Re: Counter Top Upgrade
Hey Dave, Did you come through Shelburne in your Born Free? I saw one in town one Friday about a week ago :-) Sandy, The back splash wasn't an issue, but that square box that the plexiglass frame is attached too is just a blank box. It is held to the back by 2 long screws - and these screws go into ...

Re: No power from generator
Thanks Bill, Great suggestions - I think I have seen one of these on my 2001. This looks like what you shared in your post: http://hytten.us/forumimages/Breaker.png I can't remember if the 2003 had one.. things are kind of tight behind the power box by the water tank under the sink. I think the ATS ...
