Re: A sad day, Nada Pricing and Thank you
A used RV ... of any type ... is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it! Sad, but sadly true. We previously owned a Foretravel 40' coach. When insuring it or establishing value, we always had to jump through a bunch of hoops to justify the $$$. A Foretravel is not to be compared with a Win...

Re: Born Free Stair Mat Solution
Looks like a good solution! I get these about $3 cheaper through Amazon, since I am a Prime member and pay no shipping.

Re: RV Service Reviews
I have used the rvservicereviews website to search for providers in an area when I am traveling ... and I have also posted reviews of service providers I have used. VERY valuable information! There is also the good old standby, www.rvparkreviews.com, as well as one that was passed on to me by a mech...

Re: New Owner questions ... Glad to be here!
Glad to hear that you successfully got the refrigerator and furnace to work. I'll share a few lessons learned with our 2005 26 RSB. Thanks so much for the really good info! We have a fairly good understanding of the systems, as we had propane water heater and furnaces in our first 2 coaches, stoves...

Re: New Owner questions ... Glad to be here!
Just fiddling around and trying and trying has gotten the furnace and fridge working just fine on the propane. After sitting idle for a few months, the things may have just needed to be coaxed. However ... the hot water heater does not want to perform on either LP or electric. Heats briefly, but the...

Re: New Owner questions ... Glad to be here!
OK .... next issue. We are checking all systems. Sanitizing the water tank and all the lines to various spigots, making sure that the hot water heater is filled, as per instructions. In that process, we began to experience issues with the propane. The stove burners will light, but the hot water heat...

Re: Another rear camera install
OOOhhh!! That is on our To-Do list! Now we have another reason to visit our friends in Anacortes. We will need to visit you and get a tutorial on this installation. We will happily treat you to dinner at the Front Street Grill when we head there for some Penn Cove Mussels!

Re: New Owner questions ... Glad to be here!
Well ... we had our first bit if headscratching today! Realized that the rig had an electric awning!! We had done battle many, many times with a ZipDee Autoawn on our Foretravel, and our hearts sank a bit. But, we gamely decided to give it a try. How bad could it be??? We could see that there was an...

New Owner questions ... Glad to be here!
We have just acquired a 2005 24RB Born Free, after selling our 2002 40' Foretravel. The new learning curve begins! When I remember how many years it took us to find every switch, outlet, nook, cranny and quirk ... I just start to hyperventilate. But ... That is what Owner's Forums are for! I will be...
