Thank you for the suggestions. Consignment dealers tend to charge a lot so I will go to RV Traders first and check what Motorhomes (Texas) might charge.
Thanks again.

Re: steering wander
I got the castor angle amended to about 5 deg. (originally the castor angle was between 2 and 3.5 deg). We waited to report back until after we had a high crosswind situation. We found that on Trail Ridge Road, Colorado (12,000 ft.)!! I have to report that the situation is very much better and the c...

advice on sale
Due to health issues we are going to have to sell our Born Free. I am wondering where the best place would be to advertise? Obviously I will place an ad. on this web site but where else would you suggest that will give me the minimum of scammers? Any advice would be much appreciated. Chris 2015 Free...

Re: Looking for replacement door stop hinge
I didn't bother to replace it when the same thing happened to my 2015. The door was only held open at 45 deg. anyway. I replaced it with a JR Products 10335 Spring Loaded Door Holder - 2" from Amazon. Cost $14.85 but is very solid aluminum and holds the door flat against the body. Chris 2105 Fr...

Re: steering wander
Yes thanks Bill. Either a typo or dementia not sure which. Coach goes in Wednesday and I will report back after a decent road test.

Thank you all for your helpful replies. I am going to try the 5 deg. camber mod. first and then report back.

Re: steering wander
Thank you Bill - the information you provided has been printed and I hope to find a reliable shop to carry out your suggestions. (Ford dealer here is useless and very unhelpful). Thanks again.

steering wander
I have a 2015 Freedom. I find that at virtually any speed I have to concentrate on correcting the steering the whole time and very bad in crosswind situations. (compared with my car which pretty much stays straight and doesn't "wander from side to side). I was going to get the castor angle chec...

Thank you for the link. I know you were very impressed with the improvement - particularly in windy situations.

Black streaks
Please forgive me if you all know this already but I have spent a lot of time trying to get rid of the black streaks down the side of my BF. I realise these are a bye product of dirt and rain from the roof but I tried all sorts of cleaning solutions. At last I tried Goo Gone - fantastic and it also ...

What is this switch for?
I have a 2015 24' Freedom. There is a switch adjacent to the Firewire panel marked "Coach" and "Truck". For the life of me I cannot determine what this does. The only noticable diffrence between the two settings occurs on the "coach" setting when the truck radio springs...

Awning problem
I regret that I keep asking questions but as a newby to Born Free who else can I ask? I do appreciate all your assistance in this steep learning curve. The latest and last, (hopefully) problem is the awning. It was working last December when I bought this 2015 Freedom but now nothing. I have changed...

Re: Insurance
I should clarify what State Farm have now told me in reference to the quotation for my 2015 Freedom. The original quote was $3500 and they say this was an error because the agent noted the incorrect VIN number. (I wonder what they were quoting for?) The last figure quoted is $1350. Lessons learned: ...

Re: Shower problem
Roger,
I have a simple (cynical) answer for that: Replacement cartridges are $$ a time whereas O rings are cents! A bit like Gillette razors.......... but in fairness Moen were great to deal with.
