Television Changes

I have a dumb (not Smart) 12/120 volt TV in my BF. I would like to upgrade both the TV and the input. I most likely can add a Roku to receive streaming services, but what about input.? I came across this online comment last March. “ We use a cell phone as a dedicated hotspot for our RV. It's on Visi...

Re: Cover inquiry

Had a cover at one time and I may have had the problem you mention and never noticed it. I do not recall any significant problems. If you do have this problem could you just regularly wax those areas? They aren’t visible from the ground. Maybe sone else will come up with a better solution

Smart TV

I have an 8 year old 12 volt flat screen TV in my BF. I rarely watch TV while traveling in my BF but I have been wondering what advantage there might be in installing a smart TV. I have an inverter now so I do not need to have a12 volt model. At this point I do not see much to be gained by making a ...

Re: Toilet securing

Photos? Manufacturer of toilet? Model number? Have you searched online for instructions? What have you done to find an answer? Called the manufacturer for help? I try to help, but I do expect enough information to give me an idea of where to start. I’ve replaced my toilet but it was 8 or 10 years ag...

Re: What powers what?

I’ve read these and I think there is some confusion regarding the refrigerator. As we know your refrigerator will operate on propane or 120 volt AC provided by either shore power or your generator. But there is a controller on your refrigerator that is used to set it to receive propane or shore powe...

Re: Traveling with a cat

She is ready for travel. Spayed, microchipped, and has a collar with her name and our cell phone number on it. For her health and safety she is strictly an inside cat. As opposed to my dog, she is fast and agile. That is the reason I am looking for ways to restrain her when I exit and enter my BF.

Traveling with a cat

I have travelled extensively with my dog Maya, seen at left. Just the two of us in a ten month trip to 49 states and into Canada going as far north as Yellowknife, NWT. I have never travelled with a cat and there is one major bit of information I really need to know. When opening doors to the outsid...

Re: Will my Fridge work out of level, on electric only?

Steve, What I have read and been told is that if the cooling tubes that zig zag are not level the refrigerant inside the tubes will solidify at one of the zigs or zags and stop the cooling process. I have also heard that level from front to back is more important than side to side relative to the an...

Re: Any good old advice on what BF to purchase.

I have the 26ft rear side bed. The bed isn’t wide enough to sleep two adults. My wife sleeps in the rear bed and I sleep in the cabover bed. It is large and comfortable with a foam topper. I also travel only with my dog and I then use the cabover bed for additional storage. For me it has been the id...

Re: Turn signal blinker on side mirror repair

As I recall you pry it off. I replaced mine with light emitting diodes but discovered they were not as bright as the original incandescent. I purchased two that included the lens so I did replace those. Now I remember, one of the originals had leaked water and i had previously removed, cleaned and s...

Re: Side window Maxx Air Vent

I have removed mine several times to thoroughly clean it ( I have only one now) on the underside and the surrounding window and body area. Be careful as the plastic becomes fragile. Otherwise no problems.

I really liked mine. Occasionally one has appeared on eBay. I bid on one that eventually sold for $95.

I don’t have those outlets. I’ll put one of my teeth under the mattress and hope that the tooth fairy will install one.
