Re: Outdoor shower mixing valve
Our 2010 22 RSK uses Moen water valves throughout, cartridges are $15 at any hardware or home depot. The OP did not say what year or model his coach is. Mine is a 2009 Born Free 22. Rear door with over cab sleeping. Do you have a picture of the Moen valve? The valve in your picture is the same as I...

Re: House battery boiling! Emergency
Hi Tim, Sorry for the delay in responding. We have a BornFree 2010 RSK. Our charging system may be different from yours. We leave ours plugged in all the time when we aren’t traveling. It automatically maintains the batteries nicely. The boiling battery had nothing to do with the charging system. T...

The lower part of the arm is 68.5 inches measured as if it were straight. That is the aluminum extrusion only, no attachment hardware included.
The length of the outer "main arm" is 64 inches as shown in the previous drawing of the arm.

What do you listen to that is worth the $$? Sports maybe?

Re: Sirius Satellite XM Radio antenna location.
Like Bill, I mounted the XM radio antenna on the ceiling of the cabover. The antenna must be mounted with the magnetic side down (don't ask how I know). A small patch of velcro holds it nicely to the ceiling. The signal strength display on the Onyx Plus shows 100%. I routed the cable up the rubber d...

Re: Awning options
awning angle.jpg I think Mike & Linda have the right idea. I have been searching for those bent arms for A Dometic awning for our 2008 RSB for the past month. I’ve called several places around the country and have had no luck to date. Most are saying Dometic is way behind on production, but I w...

Overall height E450 with ducted air conditioning.
Does anyone know the overall height of the coaches built on the E450 with ducted air conditioning. My 2010 22RSK is 118.5 inches, the ducted air has to be taller.
Thanks

Fogged up windows
Our 2010 22RSK has fog between the panes of the windows. I have read on another forum that the inner glass can be removed from the inside of the coach without disasembling the window. From other reading the dual pane windows do not provide much insulating value over a single pane window considering ...

Re: Mackinac Island, MI Visit
Dallas, I'm hooked, I bought the book! You will be suprised at how interesting Paradise can be. Start at the Berry Patch cafe and bakery. Just before Whitefish point is a State Marina, pull in and walk the breakwall. There is an interesting fish house (barn) and several delelect fishing boats as wel...

Re: Mackinac Island, MI Visit
If you are traveling from Alabama, it would be a shame to not visit some of the sights in the UP of Michigan. Whitefish Point, Tahaquomen Falls, Soo Locks are all day trips from St. Ignace. Contact Sheplers Ferry, on the St Ignace side, they can accomodate overnight parking for your coach. https://w...

aux start switch not working
We purchased our 2010 22RSK 3 weeks ago, we have taken it out on short overnight trips to get acclaimated and checkout the systems. When I first tried the "aux start" switch I could distinctly hear the battery isolation solenoid engage. After I hit the switch several times I no longer hear...
