Re: Alarm system for BF RVs.

I was tinkering with the alarm system, and the “motion sensor” I described I. My first post is a radio shade infrared sensor. I assume it accomplishes the same thing for interior movement but more accurately? Maybe that was the best solution at that time. 1997 Model President. I’d also like to menti...

Re: Alarm system for BF RVs.

Our BF President came with, what I assume is, a custom alarm mainly for storage and when not in the born free. It was wired to all the door pressure sensors, which are present on the driver and passenger doors as well as the main RV door. They were hooked up to switches in the bottom cabinet under t...

Screen Door Metal Catch/Hold Replacement

'97 BF President RB, but I don't think that matters. I've seen one other BF ('98 President as well... what are the odds!) with the same set up for securing the screen door to the main door. We have/had a squiggly metal "T" on the main door that would catch the screen and hold it do the mai...

Re: Actual Fuel Capacity?

Just for anyone else wondering, I had a similar question on our 1997 President Rear Bath, and all the info I would find said something different! The BF manual states a 35 gallon gas tank (you can look at page 7 of the owners manual on this site!), yet being a ‘97 it was a cross over year for the ch...
