Ford Chassie Battery
Well, we just got back from a week trip that lasted 7 weeks. I went to start the BFT and the Chassie battery was dead. Nothing was left on inside. I can not believe that the clock was the only thing that is drawing power. I will have to put a meter on and check and see if I can find the draw by pull...

Thanks George, your 110 volts or less warning is excellent advice. I do not understand why all 1st class motorhomes do not have a voltmeter permanently installed in plain view with a low voltage alarm light on it. You can get a surge guard that will shut off the power if it drops too low or goes to...

50 amp vs 30
I doubt that the 50 amp will make any difference. If you only have one ac unit you will be fine on 30 amps. Infact I have been in situations in older parks that have very weak power and my ems either shuts it down or I do. I have 2 motorhomes one 50 amp and one 30 amp and they are both able to be co...

Campgrounds
First of all we too consider BF to be the Foretravel of the Class C market. We own both. As to where to stay wel liked Musicland. It was the closest CG to where we were going and we could walk to a couple shows and to dinner. Depends on how long you are going ot stay there though. I know the sites a...

cpap and inverter
Hello all. I have a 22 foot BFT not your larger 32 foot but I do have a large Foretravel as well. I have 2 cpaps that we need to run and we had the factory install a 1000 watt inverter in the BFT and it will run these cpaps just fine. I also run them and have run then in my Foretravel for years with...

BFT
I can say i have not added anything to the BFT and it drives fine. I also have not noticed any major movement or harsh driving issues in my now 5000 miles since Oct. Infact we were out the last weekend in 50 moh with higher gusts and all we did was slow down to 60 mph and it was fine, no wandering j...

BFT
We have a 2006 BFT that we purchased in October this year. We love it. It can fit anywhere and we have over 4000 miles on it already. It is a simple and easy unit to use and you know hte quality is top notch too. It will fit in a parking space and will go where you point it. We are getting between 9...

Saw a couple painted units in PA and thought that the full paint was way too busy on the shorter units. I think you can get away with it on the 32 footer but the 22-26 foot just does not have enough area to make the swoops look right. Just my opinion. I will say that I saw a half paint job and loved...

I 81
take I 81 it is much better but if it is supppose to snow then it will have a greater chance of the white stuff. I am sitting in a truckstop right now after taking I 81 south form the top of VA. I would second the I77 to 2y6 route. If you have to go inland sooner take I 81 to I 66 exit 300 in VA and...
