I have installed the Trojan batteries also. Very happy with them. I have a 2003 24RB and needed to install the current battery holder instead of my original one.
I called Born Free and they sent me the replacement unit.

Many of us have done that very thing. You will find a great increase in ride comfort and overall stability. Well worth the money.

We have a 24 rear bath. A year or 2 ago we removed the dinette and installed a single bed. We had the Born Free factory ship us a frame for a single bed to match the frame of the sofa. We went to a local upholstery shop and ordered a faux-leather cushion for the mattress. My husband slept in a Trava...

Note for TAHOE,

I converted to 6 volt Trojan batteries on my 2003 24RB about a year ago. Easy to do and worked out well.

Steve

I had the problem of a low driveway entrance also. Solved it by putting a 2X4 across the low spot.

I follow the class C models thru several sources. I must say I agree with DBrown. For some time I have looked at in person ,read about and thought a lot about the Sprinter Chassis. It seems to me that Born Free must provide this option if they expect to really do well in the future in the class C ma...

Bill,
I am going to install my PD4655 between Thursday and Monday this weekend.
It occurred to me to ask what is the recommended way to verify that the installation has been completed correctly before I turn on the battery switch inside the coach?

Nathan, I have a 24RB and travel with the Weber Propane grill called GO-ANYWHERE. It's small, compact and always works. I use it with the small canisters that screw on to the connection at the side of the grill. Have had it for about 10 years. Wouldn't be without it. Look on the Weber website for in...

I sympathize with your bad insurance experience. In your case, the "penalty" was for the 5 points not the size or cost of the accident. You are lucky to be getting lower quotes...just be sure you are comparing apples to apples because what you think you may be getting may be different than...

It has been so hot and dry here that I have stayed out of the BF.
Wanted to do the conversion right after receiving the replacement from Best Converter.
First cooler day and I will attempt it.

Thanks as always for all your help
