Turn Signal audio enhancer
I owned 2 Born Frees in the past. Both were diesels. On the second one, I could not hear the "clicker" when the turn signal was operating. About that time the man with all the answers, Bill Hemme , posted a fix with an audio enhancer from Radio Shack. My problem today is the same, except t...

Re: Alumni member
I wish to thank both Mike and Pete for their responses. I now know where where to order my part and its part number. From the detailed submission of Pete, I could install this in a Ford truck. As I need to install this in a 2013 Honda CRV I need to know where to access the turn signal wires etc. Fai...

Some 20 to 25 years ago, my first Born free had a directional signal that didn't CLICK loud enough to be heard over the the roar of the Ford diesel. Someone posted a solution to this which called for a trip to "Radio Shack", where I purchased at a very reasonable price, a small electronic ...

Re: Sirius XM radio in my Born Free, can I transmit the sign
I suggest you contact XM. I heard an ad (but wasn't really listening) that talked about playing your XM radio anywhere, in your house, on your computer. etc.

Re: Data Base for sold Born Free units
Thank you all for your patients. Either the Russians had masked the section in a hacking exercise or my new glasses are working better- yes I found it. Again thanks for your help. Now the problem is, how to use the info. Were the sold units gas or diesel? Did they have added goodies: solar panels, i...

Re: Data Base for sold Born Free units
Larry & Helen, you are forcing me to acknowledge that I must be getting senile.I have lost track of the number of times that I have gone to those forums and tediously scrolled through everything there and have yet to find any listings of prices for sold units. But I very much appreciate your eff...

Re: Happy Independence Day, fellow Born Free owners!
Steve. Last January, I decided I wanted to take our coach and view the eclipse. We had thought that we would want to be away from the coast, to avoid the possibility of fog. So we decided on Wyoming (there were many factors that went into this selection, fishing being one of them). In January I call...

Re: Bumper wheels
In the "good ole days", one would say "I saw a picture of it, so it must be true". Not any more! But thanks for your use of photo shop, it elicited a chuckle.

Re: Bumper wheels
After replacing the original casters , and they also failed, purchased a set from Albion Casters. They are still on the coach (about 10 Years). I also, about 4 years ago, removed the factory installed air bags and had my leaf springs re-arced and an additional leaf installed. This resulted in raisin...

Re: RV storage, if you have the room
Thanks Bill, Steve, and Roger. I performed an operation, by accident, similar to what Bill suggested. I was pressing some keys and a window popped up on my windows computer that told me to press the "windows" key and the Prt Sc key. Then after I got the shot press the windows key and E key...

Re: RV storage, if you have the room
Steve. I do know that I should not stick a knife blade into an electrical wall outlet, but I do not know how to resend your picture of a potential storage area to my son-in-law. I right clicked on it and did not see an option. As I have noticed in the past that you come up with some interesting pict...
