Dinette table size?

Our 2008 RSB has the 2 swivel chairs with a pull-up dinette table. The table that pulls up was missing when we bought the unit. Didn’t think much about it, but am now missing the feature... Can someone measure theirs and provide me the dimensions so I can make a replacement? Missing just being able ...

Anyone have experience with U.S. Battery?

Looking to replace the current coach batteries with 6 volt batteries. I have a 2008 RSB, so have read that the battery box is smaller than prior years, with the main problem being the height of the battery box. I found a 6 volt AGM 214AH rated battery made by U.S. Battery (USAGM6V27). The physical d...

Re: Solar Batter Charger - Seeking Guidance

We have a 2008 Born Free BFT - that is in storage for 4-5 months each year. I do "exercise" it every 2 weeks or so. Here's my question - I was thinking it would be a good investment to purchase a Solar Batter Charger to maintain the engine battery during down time. Also, wondering if the ...

Water pooling on roof

Anybody have problems with water pooling around A/C and Fantastic Fan? We've only had the 32RQ for a year so haven't been in it a lot, but recent 2 trips we had heavy rains. Both times we had leaks around either the A/C or the front vent. Went on the roof and had huge pool of water around these. The...

We traveled with 3 small dogs that are litter box trained. I removed the swivel chair behind the passenger seat. The chair was a quick release, so it was very easy to remove. I built a simple wooden box to cover the mount and secured the litterbox to the wooden box. Sorry I don't have pictures. BUT,...

Re: New BF 28 WB

As usual, Bill is correct. I'm sorry for not being more specific about the air tank. According to the manual you must "drain" the tank daily to remove moisture from the system. Moisture in the system can lead to component failure over time. We drain it daily when in use, but not when in st...

Congratulations on your new coach Mary Ann. Late last year, we traded our 2006 RSB for a 2006 32RQ and it's the most comfortable coach we've ever had (3rd BF). The extra width and ceiling height makes the coach seem huge inside by comparison to our old RSB models. We were concerned about storage, bu...

If it really is glue residue, go to Ace Hardware and purchase a bottle of "Goo Gone". It will remove that glue very easily.

Glad you figured it out, and thanks for the thoughts on the 32 ft. We went to the Iowa RV show and spent quite a bit of time in the 32RQ with slides and the 28 RSB WB. The extra ceiling height and body width definitely give you the feeling that the inside is much larger than our current RSB. Overall...

Can you take another picture a little further back so as to give better orientation on the vehicle. Don't know if that will help or not, but might... We're anxiously awaiting delivery of the used 2006 32 RQ we just purchased (being transported from Florida to Iowa sometime soon we hope). When we tak...

Thanks for all the responses. Interesting stuff. The extra cost of the Freightliner would mean we would likely have to save for a couple more years before we could afford the BF. We really like the floorplan of the Rear Queen, but frankly I'm worried about the Kodiak chassis knowing that they're no ...

Freightliner chassis?

Received a flyer in the mail today listing demos for sale, etc. and was surprised by the following statement: "We offer Born Free's on either a Ford or Chevy chassis except our 32' model will be on a Freightliner chassis with a Cummns diesel engine and an Allision transmission". I went to ...

Matthew, I'm interested in your photos. Please post. Thanks! Bill Sorry for delayed response - we were on a trip to Florida, where I picked up a trailer for my new neighbor. He gave me the trailer for the cost of my gas and time to drive to Florida and pick it up (it was full of his stuff, so I had...
