Re: PD4655 or Ultra III

Most of what I’ve read about WFCO units are complaints, along with plans or recommendations to replace the WFCO with a Progressive Dynamics unit.

Metal Valve Stem Installers

Does anyone have a recommendation of a tire shop, preferably in Southern California, that can: . Properly install the correct all steel/metal valve stems (the standard type, not the extender type), and . Properly remove and re-install the Dicor hose valve extenders? I have had bad experiences which ...

The front brakes haven’t been done. Their brake pads still looked good at 71,000 miles, less than half worn, according to the service report.

The brake pads were replaced and rotors turned for the rear brakes only on our coach at 71,000 miles. I’m fairly sure that this was the first brake replacement, although we are the second owners of the vehicle. I consider that pretty good performance. Our car has had to have the brakes replaced on...

Here’s the information I think you want, from a posting by Roger: “The removal of the old TV shelf left holes in the laminate shelf. I took a sink cover to Home Depot and matched the color to Formica 520 shell grafix. A repair compound called FormFill is available from Superior Cabinet and Windo...

I thought I would offer my 2 cents. First of all, on our furnace (Suburban SF-30F), if the burner doesn’t come on, it just keeps blowing cold air, waiting for the temperature to rise. This doesn’t seem like good logic, so maybe it’s been fixed in subsequent models. If not, the fact that the bl...

I’m surprised about your comment about taking your dog in a rental car. We’ve taken our dog a number of times in a rental car. We’ve never asked whether it would be OK, and we have never seen any specific prohibition of it. I did a quick search on the Internet, and the two main concerns seem t...

I’m interested in what others say about this, but here’s my experience: We don’t get sewer odor except after flushing when the weather’s been hot and I’ve allowed the tank to get too full. If there was sewer gas odor under other circumstances, that would be unusual, and I would look for so...
