At this point we are strongly considering leaving the caravan at Skagway and taking the ferry back to Bellingham, Wa. We will miss the final week but it is ground we will have covered in the first week out of Dawson Creek, BC. The downside is that I can get awfully seasick and $3000 is a lot to pay...

My 1998 24 RB has drum brakes in the rear, so no sticking puck problems. Wonder when Ford switched to discs? My 1998 23RK model was built on the new at that time E-Super Duty chassis, which was the same as the later E450 chassis. Soon after that Ford built E350 Super Duty and E450 Super Duty chassi...

Our previous Born Free had rectangular handles on the doors below the twin beds. We replaced those with about fifteen inch lengths of heavy brown boot shoe laces threaded through the screw holes and tied knots at the ends.

Has the date for this rally been established? If so, I need to know the dates for planning. I could not attend this year's rally due to conflict. Thanks in advance. They have been scheduling them the first week in June. I would call the factory to find out if they have set a definite date for next ...

Hey Dean Do you use the inverter that much for 110 volt ? Ray, We use the inverter to make coffee, make diet milk shakes, vacuum the carpets, run the hair dryer on low, power up electronics to access the Internet, recharge electric tooth brush batteries and cell phones and Kindles, power an electri...

My inverter is not an Outback but is inside my 2013 coach and the fan runs all time when the inverter is turned on. I turn it off to stop parasitic battery drain unless I am hooked up to shore power or charging the batteries from the generator or need to run something needing 110 volts AC.

Dean - Thats interesting, do you happen to know about what year that was incorporated? I will look in the owners manual also - if I can find it - but honestly, I haven't found it that helpful in the past. My 2005 Born Free had the 5-speed transmission. I believe that a few 2004 models also might ha...

I have a 2002 RB E450. In September I will be driving down "3 mile hill" in Western PA - one of those roads where trucks are required to pull over at the top and downshift to low gear, and that has a runaway truck road halfway down the mountain. Should I downshift manually at the top of the hill? I...

How does one break an axle? Really deep pothole? Sorry, BUT I had to ask, since my rig is way older than yours. If you don't want to talk about it, I APOLOGIZE. The V-10 engine is capable of great horsepower. In the past, when ambulances would start out quickly upon receiving a call, the full power...

rpc says: I'd like to call Michelin corporate office, but their website offers no phone number. VERY FRUSTRATED. My travel plans are already much delayed but I'm afraid to be on the road with these recalled tires. The Michelin online tire recall notice says: If you have questions or concerns after v...
