I tried to put the Horst sensors into the black tank a few years back..but could only get the middle sensors out to replace. The top sensor just refused to come out, and I didn't want to drill new holes, so gave up on the project. You don't need to keep track of wires if you replace them one at a ti...

We just crossed back into the US yesterday from our Alaska trip. Colorado plates seen in the Kenai were probably ours. This trip as compared to 2009: much more rain and mosquitos but much more wild life seen. The roughest road portions are the Alaskan highway just before entering Alaska..there are s...

When I did mine, I drilled a hole into the back wall space, ran the wires through that space to the under bed storage area and then dropped them through the floor and routed then under the RV to the driver's step well (there were grommited holes allowing passage from beneath the RV). I mounted the m...

You have more flexibility in installing 12V cigarette lighter style sockets. They are adaptable to USB plugs with plug in adaptors but could still be used for other things that take a full cigarette lighter plug.

If the cold water lines are running fine but none of the HW lines are running (hence the previous posted question re. the kitchen HW), something is off from the HW heater on. Most likely the bypass valve(s) are positioned in the non-bypass mode so you are trying to fill up the HW heater before you'l...

OK, thanks! I kept fighting with the add image or trying to copy and paste the picture or stick a copy of the picture somewhere in internet-land.

I figured it would be something simple.

I have attached an avatar and posted pictures in the past, but I am having a problem with pics now (can't say about avatars) so either something has changed and/or I need instructions.

To say you have no problem does not tell me how to have no problem. Please elaborate. Thanks!!

OK, I have a picture I want to post and I have shrunk it down to recommended size, how do I get it into a post? It seems to want a link but where do I put it so there is a public link to it? Also, it would be good if the instructions are added to the area talking about postiing pics as all its about...

If you are back to doing it yourself (AKA have the grandson do it) you may want to look at crutchfield again. Not sure why they gave you grief/questions before. Their advantage is that they give you step by step instructions and you can get the adaptor bracket, adaptor wiring harness, Ford removal t...

Charlotte, as has been stated more than once, a double din radio will not fit without modifying the dash. You have also said that you do not want to do the install. Since you will be very hard put to find a standard store such as Best Buy or Car Toys or similar that is willing to cut or grind into y...
