I too use the scan gauge. Most of the time I have it set to show RPM,water temp.,transmission temp., and MPG. You can chose 4 to be displayed from about 25 or more areas of info. It will also show outside Air temp. By setting it to intake air temp. I also use this from time to time as well as chargi...

Spare tire and overheating
Someone pointed out that with the spare tire mounted in front of the radiator they had not even noticed any change in the temp. Gage. I wish to point out that you would not see any change in less the engine was overheating. It is important to realize that fords" gage" in our coaches is onl...

I needed a jack but didn't want to take up storage space so I purchased a hyd. Jack and built a small alum. Frame under the coach just behind the passages door and put the jack and handle along with a steel plate for the jack to sit on if the jacking surface was soft. This is all inside a waterproof...

Update
After almost one year with the Jack installed I must report I am very, very disappointed. The reception is very poor unless you are right on top of a station. In towns it works well but if not I get nothing. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Having done this trip 2 years ago I would have no question about which to do. TAKE the old coach. If you do all the roads and see the best of Alaska you will be glad many times over that you are not in your new coach. I seriously wondered if I should have rented and not taken my coach but we had suc...

I have been using my jack for about 4 months and have also been very disappointed . I live in the mountains and have traveled mostly in SC. Va.Tn. And NC and have never gotten much coverage. At home where I know what I could receive with the old delta antena there is not much difference. If anything...

Update
Just thought I'd give a update and include some pictures. I'm real happy with the TST truck system. I have been using it for about 2 years and about 15,ooo miles. Have had one of the valve stem sensors battery replaced under warranty and otherwise it has worked flawlessly. Also love the Borg valve st...

Jack installed
FYI.. Just finished installing the complete Jack antenna on my 2001rsb. I like it a lot . I installed it on the slope in the same hole as the delta. The hole had to be enlarged, I chose to drill it out to a 2 1/8 hole. The roof is only 1" thick so it was close but worked well. The instruction s...

Jack
Nancy thanks fo the great pictures. They are exactly what I needed to see. It looks like they mounted it on the sloped part of the roof and did not level it and you said it worked awesome . I will install one this w/e on my coach the same way as yours. I was not looking forward to making a special p...
