Leaving in the morning for Dallas to see the new granddaughter.
The plan is to leave I-10 at Mobile, AL and take 98 to Hattiesburg and then 49 to I-20 at Jackson, MS.
Does anybody know of current road conditions about 98 and 49 (hoping I can do 60-65 consistently if smooth roads).

Re: Who all carry a CB Radio in your Born Free?
I must be a contrarian but when traveling I use the CB at some time each day. Most often to see what is causing a bumper to bumper problem.

Re: fair market value
When I bought mine we pulled up the NADA values and negotiated a price from there based on condition and mileage. I think I paid an extra $1000. One may not feel that it represents market but it will at least give you a reference point. Go to NADA website. They have an RV section. Usually BF isn't l...

Re: Air Conditioner Help
Dallas here is one I have on my phone. This is the run capacitor - the start capacitor is next to it and slightly smaller. To get access I removed the cover on the air conditioner than removed an aluminum shield (about 10 inches square). Be careful the warning says one can get a serious shock or kil...

Kitchen Sink Stoppers Needed
Any suggestions on where to replace the kitchen sink stopper/strainer would be appreciated. I tried Kim at Bornfree but surprised to learn they don't have anything to fit a '99?

Re: Air Conditioner Help
After replacing both capicators (the parts were about $65), it seems to be functioning OK.

Re: Air Conditioner Help
Pulled the cover off the air conditioner. After checking I think it's the start capacitor. I'll put a new one in and see what happens.
It is disappointing to see all the debris in the air conditioner as I paid to have it serviced in April and it looks like the cover was never removed.

Air Conditioner Help
Apparently the fan has died on the Dometic air conditioner in my coach this week end. I'm assuming, considering the age of the appliance, replacement rather than repair is the best option. Any suggestions besides Dometic? The coach is 23' RK. Since I live in Florida in any thoughts on going from a 1...

Re: TV and inverter
You probably are lucky because a 400 watt inverter for only $60 means it probably is not a pure sine wave inverter. The lower cost inverters are commonly called modified sine wave inverters which means they actually output what essentially is a square wave voltage which can in some cases cause inte...
