George: Thank you for the response ~~ In answer to your question, there were no physical changes to anything on the coach prior to the initial drain occurring ~~ and while we don’t put a lot of miles on the unit each week, it is always driven at least 25 miles, or so, which, previous to this issue...

Re: Upper and Lower Ball Joint grease zerk and wrench sizes;
[quote="Sam Ryan"][quote="BornFree_n_Now"] BornFree_n_now: I noticed you're in California.......and Pep Boys is out of Los Angeles. You probably have tons of stores there, as in Texas. At least in the larger cities. So, I'll clue you in on the exact package of grease fittings I b...

Tom: Thank you for the response ~~ yes, that delay is also in our unit, and caught my attention as well ~~ it does seem like that circuit is either on or off, and since we never see even a dim light after it goes off I think it is not the culprit ~~ I have fully recharged our new battery, and am now...

JD: You might check eBay/online for prices on the individual pieces of equipment you mentioned ~~ we have found that we save considerably, going this route, as compared to the prices the brick and mortar retailers are asking for the same exact products. Also, would heartily recommend the Unified Tow...

Re: BATTERY GOING DEAD
Larry & Sharon, Does your battery still go dead if you shut off your large rotary battery shut off switch? Bill: Thank you for your reply ~~ have not noticed a difference, irrespective of rotary switch position, and really thought that the chassis battery should be separate from the house batte...

Electrical Gremlin Stealing Chassis Battery Power :>(
We recently noticed we have apparently picked up a parasitic drain on our chassis battery ~~ At first we thought it was the battery ~~ the Optima we have been using, for the past two years, or so, had a bit lower than OEM CCA, so we replaced with the correct size with more than the original specific...

Re: Thanks!
Sam:
When you report back could you identify the source and size of the zerk fittings you installed?

Our 2002 unit does not have the integrated flush, but we have used an after market apparatus, picked up at Camping World, with some success. It is called “RV Hydro Flush with Anti-Siphon Valveâ€

We installed a Progressive Dynamics PD9160A converter/charger at the same time we upgraded the batteries ~~ both actions were taken as result of our research, which led us to conclude that this combination would give us the best performance possible ~~ so far, we have not been disappointed.

Jack: Between the 105’s and 125’s we opted to go with the 125’s for the extra capacity ~~ FYI, we paid $78.95 each for the 125’s last April.

Randy & Fayrene: We don’t have to remove the T-125 batteries from the tray to check & add water. The inside battery is more difficult to deal with, but with an extension mirror and turkey baster, it is not insurmountable. We have thought about the Quik-Fill watering system approach, but ha...

Portable truck tire inflator suggestions
Air Lift makes a compressor system with a 2 gallon holding tank which allows you to adjust your air bags while you are driving down the road, and service your tires, via a detachable air hose, when so required. We would not be without this unit, for both purposes. It is only a 12 volt system, but it...
