Re: Speculation, but

Interesting thread and one we've all probably speculated about. My thoughts are - BF got away from their niche. For quite a while there were specific models and features one could count on - then there seemed to be years of searching - maybe looking for new trends - whatever. This can be costly to p...

Re: Leak in Side Window

Thank you Roger
Fortunately I caught it before it came over the top of the trac. I'll try it this weekend. That would be an inexpensive fix.

Leak in Side Window

In a hard rain I found a leak in the coach driver side window. The water was collecting in the bottom of the sliding window trac. I couldn't tell where it was getting into the trac and didn't see any other signs of water on the inside of the window.

Any ideas?

Fresh Water Tank - Deteriorate?

My coach is a 1999. Is there a concern that fresh water tanks, over time, become brittle and rupture more easily?

Re: Should I have an Inverter

My inverter was inexpensive and easily installed. I use it for TV, computer, music, charging appliances, a slow cooker, and a variety of things that occur. The ability to have electricity on call is nice. I'll always have one.

Secret Service Procedural Change

Biden and Obama were discussing the changes since Trump was elected. Biden: You know - the secret service has changed the protocol if the President is attacked? Obama: No, I didn't, what is the change? Biden: Well, if an attack is imminent - instead of yelling "GET DOWN"! they are going to...

Re: Look Inside the Fresh Water Tank

Steve, I cannot find that specific product brand that was marketed in past 10 - 15 years ago. It was basically a marine deck plate like the one in your post (see edit comment below). Just wondered if anyone has tried it? When doing a search of these on the net for RV uses I'm seeing that others are ...

Look Inside the Fresh Water Tank

Has anyone put a "deck plate" on their fresh water tank? This would typically come from a marine supply outlet. This would allow viewing and cleaning inside the tank. A few years ago there was a product like this marketed to RVers. The Bornfree service center in Clermont, FL sold and insta...

Re: Recommendations for Replacement Toilet

CW stepped up and took care of the issues. I ended up with a Thetford Aqua II in the ceramic - all in all it seems like a nice upgrade. Now maybe to put in a sink upgrade?

Re: Recommendations for Replacement Toilet

Thanks to responders - it is very helpful to talk with those that "have been there - done that". Unfortunately was at CW and they said they did not have the low profile as no one installed it any more. So I went with the taller one. Not till after the installation did we realize it would b...

Re: Recommendations for Replacement Toilet

Sorry but the "take it to Camping World" approach did not work. They were full of recommendations but we're not aware that there is a 1-2 inch rise in the 23RK wet bath which now makes for a toilet seat almost 22" high as installed. In addition the additional height required additiona...

Recommendations for Replacement Toilet

I've got the 23' RK and would like to replace the OEM toilet (Thetford) with a ceramic one, with the least disruption to install.

Any recommendations?

Re: Sway after installing new tires

Just FYI
I've used both tires. I agree with previous posts - the steel sidewall tires will give you a more firm ride than the lighter weight tires. There can be more "sway" with the lighter tires especially in coaches that may be near their max payload weight.
