Detlef & Ursula, If I may be so bold as to ask, what was the cost of the full body paint option on your 2006 26' RSB coach? Your paint job really does look beautiful. Do you know if the factory did the paint job in house or was it done by an outside vendor selected by the factory? Bill, The fac...

I can offer a picture of our 2007 BF26RSB in full body paint. I believe it has a manufacturing date of Nov. 2006 - so close to 3 1/2 years old now. One of the reasons we went "painted" was the looks of course, but also the prospect of long-term beauty and shine (of our coach just to be cle...

jerseypete, hi

Thanks for clarifying this. Makes sense to me. I think this is why hrgermany ran a separate wire to the chassis battery. That should be fairly easy.

Sunshine aplenty here in CA now that winter's over. So I think I'm gonna get started on the project......

Thanks again, Detlef

Thank you for all the details, jerseypete. That really helps. Appears to me the folks at AM Solar http://amsolar.com/ know a thing or two about mobile solar power. Not sure if I'd need four panels to start out with, but it's good to know that more can be added w/o upgrading to a new controller. Just...

Interesting. Just curious how you route the wires to the battery compartment. Do you go through an existing vent pipe or did you need to drill holes into your roof?

Also, I looked around and found that most panel mount flat to the roof. I like those tilting brackets. Who makes them?

Ed (ewagman), I looked at the ScanGaugeII also. Seems like a solid piece with a much better multi-function display. The main reason I went with the Kiwi MPG was its small footprint of only 1 x 2.5 x 0.5 inches - plus its so lightweight. Just a small dab of GOOp holds it securely to my dash. I had no...

Kiwi MPG- gives instant & avg MPG and engine diagnostic

Kiwi MPG is a smart little gadget, which may actually help save us some money over time. Don't we all need that? It is a multi-functional display unit showing miles per gallon ( MPG - instant and average ), dollars used on fuel on a given trip and a couple of other features explained further down. I...

Gas Strut helps Overhead Medicine Cabinet Door stay open

We've made a few of improvements to our beloved 2007 BF26RSB, which I'll start sharing here on this forum. One of the things which bothered me was that the Overhead Medicine Cabinet Door - although supported by spring-loaded hinges on both sides - kept sagging when in the open position. Not so much ...
