Ouch.. The cost of new mirrors at this point is more than we want to spend. Right now I'm working on getting the Born Free mats for the steps. I think we'll touch them up and go from there. Is anyone seeing it in other location? Thanks for getting back to us and letting us know we're not the only on...

Peeling on arm of mirror

Hi all

The drivers side arm of the mirror is peeling. Has anyone else had anything like this happen? If so what did you do to stop the madness of the peeling?

Thanks

Jo

More snow..

Hi all - I'm starting to think we are never going to have our practice run with our Born Free before we head to Alabama in May.. We wanted a practice run so we could learn how things work so we didn't look like the total amateurs we are when we're on the road. We went from a nice fire on our deck si...

I don't know the difference with other racks but with ours, you remove the front wheel and secure to the rack and the other attachment to the rack screws into the rear crank arms. We don't know the techie terms but it is very stable. There are a few other tandem riders on the forum. Maybe they have...

Tandem Rack

Curt and Jo, we traveled for 9 years with our Santana tandem on the back of our 26 RSB. We have a very sturdy rack and a cover made by a local boat canvas maker to fit over the tandem. The cover was custom made and cost $500 but without the cover, the first year we traveled we rusted out the rear d...

Placement of your bike.

Looks wonderful. Can't wait..it's going to be a while here in MN. I have a question. We have a BF 26' RB and we also have a tandem bike. I noticed on your pictures you travel with your bikes on the front of your BF. We are new at this and I was wondering if that is a better place to put bikes rather...

Insurance

Thanks for all your help. We went with Progressive, they had the best rates around. In fact we are changing our auto insurance as well. Besides that decision we have also joined the Leap'nLions, so it was a busy weekend..

Insurance question

This is our first RV and we are looking for insurance. If anyone has an insurance company that they have had good success with, we would love to know who they are. I have gotten some quotes and the prices vary so much. At this point we are not going to be using it more that a month or so a year. Aft...

And, no, my avatar is NOT Tonto. That's Shiloh, who is rather bright.
Check out the Spanish translation for Tonto......

We just brought home our 1st BF. It's a 26' 2004 RB. We have a 2000 Ford conversion van we used for camping (obviously it's for sale now). Our maiden voyage is to Trussville Alabama to our nieces graduation in May. We live north of St. Paul, MN and we bought it to RV around the US, Canada and wherev...
