23 vs 24
At the recent Born Free Homecoming, I asked Ed about putting the 23 rear kitchen on the E-450 chassis and I believe he said it would add about 2000 in cost, but would lower gas mileage +- 2mpg. He also said there is 800# of available payload after the tanks are filled and the passengers in on the E-...

bike rack
We have a Thule 964 Revolver 4 bike rear hitch mount rack with a 2 inch receiver. You can still find them for sale if you google, but that model has been replaced with Thule 9027 Apex Swing - Thule Hitch Mount Bike Rack. Both models can swing out. Ours is a heavy, beefy rack and we have had no probl...

While at the Creede Rally, the wife of one of our club officers mistook our RV for her own and entered our RV. Good thing it was my RV and not Sam's.

23 ft new model
The build team put in long hours on short notice to have representative new models ready for the attendees at the recent rally. What a super job they did! Though we saw some beautiful new models, highlighting many innovations and features as listed on the scanned in list earlier in this thread, it w...

F-450
No one has commented on the new-to-me product yet, the 29 ft. rear bed on the F-450. Can't wait to see the new models in June at the Born Free Rally in Humboldt. I noticed that model on the Born Free site last week, I think it was, and was waiting for someone else to mention the update.

re: congrats to No. Iowa
Tonight was a sports lover's dream here in Iowa. UNI beating Kansas. Iowa Hawkeyes winning NCAA Wrestling Team Championship, plus 3 individual champions. And the Iowa Hawkeye women won their opening women's NCAA basketball matchup against C. Vivian Stringer (a former Iowa head coach) and the Rutgers...

bike rack
We use this sturdy 4 bike rack, though we only ever take two bikes at a time. We had a 2 bike rack and it let the bikes rub and bang against each other from the road jostling. We opted for the 4 bike rack then and the bikes don't touch. While we only take the 2 bikes at a time, it accommodates our 2...

If you are able to hook up to cable, you won't need a convertor. But for whenever you are dependant on your antenna for a signal, you need the convertor available at places like Walmart, Best Buy, etc. Walmart has convertors available for under $50 and up. $55 at Best Buy. One for $40 on Circuit Cit...

TV reception
If you are hooked up to cable (or take along your Directv receiver and locate your signal with your satellite dish), you don't need a convertor or digital tv-you will be able to use your analog tv and view everything offered on cable or satellite just fine. But if you want to view tv via over the ai...
