SteveK, SS would be fine just be sure to wrap some black electrical tape around the cable before attaching since vibration may cut into the cable.

Here is what I've used for 30 years. Cable Tie Mounts are available at any electrical supply house. Be sure and use the black UV resistant ones. I don't use the sticky- back tape but instead use some Cyanoacrylate adhesive. I also use a quality black UV resistant cable tie like the ones Panduit sell...

We also have our unit set to auto and run on propane when driving, we always shut it off when refueling. We had a Chinook before the Born Free and it had a 3-Way Refrigerator, I had to install a relay (it didn't come with one) to shut off the 12vdc to the reefer when the ignition was shut off. It wo...

This is a reply to Rogers comment that a switch is needed because of RFI. Not having access to a Spectrum Analyzer (since I retired) I used the next best thing, a portable AM radio. There was NO noticeable difference when the USB charger was powered on or off. As for the iPad 2 charging at 10W or 2A...

OK, the Battery Charging Specification for charging ports is 1.5A max per port (as of Jan 2013) and the battery charging spec for USB 3.0 is 900mA. I believe this unit will source 2.1 amps per port if you only use a single port. It charges my Kindle Fire HD with no problems. I can't attest to any RF...

Dual USB Charger Socket - 2 USB Ports for our coaches

I installed two dual USB charger sockets in our 2005 24RB one on each side of the coach for our (now) numerous electronic devices. The pics are for the socket located on the passenger side and I ran the 12vdc wiring inside the space for the pull out pantry. The 2nd one was mounted on the drivers sid...

Unlike other RV's the dump mechanism can be moved up or down (rotated), yours was probably up, it may be a little stiff if it hasn't been moved for awhile. I just point mine slightly down and don't worry about it.

Charlotte, here is how I mounted our LCD TV: http://www.bornfreervclub.org/bulletin_ ... php?t=1689 instead of doing what I did and recessing the TV you could just mount it to a flat cabinet door, hinged with a gas strut and then you could easily open the door for more storage.

I found this; Q Industries MV50 SuperFlow Hi-Volume Air Compressor and it works well for our use. It is 12vdc and I carry it with me in our Jeep Liberty so we have it at all times. It does draw about 30 amps so you have to connect it directly to the battery but it will pressurize my jeep tire in abo...
