Re: Strange brackets

I would say not from factory. Some previous owner installed. I tried to guess for what reason, but could not come up with any idea? Anybody else have a guess? I would also question whether they are screwed in the wooden studs or not. Finding the studs can be tricky. I have found this works...go outs...

Re: What you think of me putting heavy Generator on rear hitch?

No I did not make any mods. Still using my old and noisy Yamaha 2800i to run my 13.5 AC.
Honda does have a new generator: EU3200i. $2600, 58 pounds, 54-58dB.
Search the Web, and you will find people using the Honda EU2200i ($1200) and the SoftStartRV modification ($319)
to run the 13.5 AC.
Good Luck

Re: Replacing backup camera

I would look for something with the best resolution. My 2011 also has the screen on my radio. To me, the picture quality is fair to good. My 2019 Chevy Bolt rear camera has a much better resolution and the picture is great compared to the BF. I would shop around for more up to date system.

How important is 110V polarity in my BF?

My BF is hooked up to a 15 amp 2 wire 110volt circuit, and and do not know the polarity. Do I need to be concerned? Thanks :D

Good idea. I have heard about these. Around a 100 bucks I think. Wonder how hard it is to install? Have you installed one? I know there is videos showing installation. Thanks

That reminds me of an old.. old joke. You can delete this if you find it in poor taste.

Honda has a new Generator: the EU3200i gen.

Honda has a new generator EU3200i. Will run 13.5AC
Fuel Injected. 58 pounds. 1.2 gal tank. 54-58 dB. Has BlueTooth.
About $2600.

Any comments? For owners like me, where their BF did not come with a generator. Thanks.

Re: Lazy Daze RV factory closed

We went to the LD factory, before we bought our BF. Sorry to hear about the closing. Lazy Days has a real cult following and I see lots of them here on the West Coast. We were looking at a 24 foot LD with rear twin beds. Did Born Free ever make rear twin beds?

Re: Handling and Ride Questions for the E350 22' Owners

Thanks... I have new tires. Air pressure same as yours. Bill Whemme had specific specs for alignment. Should be a link. I went to my local Ford dealer a number of years back, and they said No, my motor home too big for their alignment equipment. Kinda got discouraged after that and never had it done...

Re: Handling and Ride Questions for the E350 22' Owners

I have a 22 foot E350 RSK. Drives crapy with side winds. I just slow down and live with it. Has about 25k miles on it. I am second owner; had 4K miles. Bill W. talks about front wheel alignment. I have not done this.

Saw a BF for sale at local Consignment Lot in Oregon

In Medford Oregon. I just saw a 2008 rear bath, 150,000 miles $27,500. Looked in very good/ excellent shape. Talked to the Lot owner. He charges 10% commission. Is this 10% pretty typical? Said on a average, 45 days to sell a MH. PS... This BF is still for sale if anyone is interested. I took a pict...
