Most Walmart stores will allow you to park overnight. I've done this many times when on the road. The lots are always well lit and secure. There will be signs posted if parking is not allowed but check with the store to make sure. Here's a link to a site listing parking status: http://www.allstays.c...

Does Born Free still trim cabinet openings with the iron on veneer? A source of frustration on our 2004 RB model. Regards dean At the factory rally this summer I complained about the cheap vinyl edging on the plywood. The rep said that they are now using solid wood edging. Some of the models on dis...

I have no good track record yet. My only trips this year have been to areas where TV reception was non existent or very limited. I spent last winter in several areas in south Fllorida with friends that had the Jack. At that time I had the Winegard with the Wingman attachment. My reception was fairly...

I have experienced the drawer problem after removing and then reinstalling the drawer. It seems the the slides get out of sync and require a little extra force to close it completely. Once it has been completely closed it should function normally.

I installed my Winegard so that it stows sideways rather than to the rear. I had to shorten the arms about 8" to prevent the antenna from sticking out over the side when stowed. The Wingman is an improvement. Rather than purchasing the Wingman attachment you might want to consider the Jack ante...

No damage will be done. I don't recall which has precedence, shore power or generator. If generator has precedence, the generator will run for a few seconds allowing it to come up to speed then automatically switch over. If shore power has precedence, the generator will start but the switch over won...

At the Born Free factory rally they announced that they are organizing a caravan for 2013. They are putting together a group of 25 coaches. $100 to reserve a spot. I believe they said about $6500 for the tour. The caravan will rendezvous at Banf Canada. They plan on returning by ferry which would be...

I scanned in the feature list and you can download it below. Check out item number 22. I had a difficult time locating this item.

This was my first rally and I must say that Born Free did a bang-up job. I definitely will be attending next year.

Many thanks to all the dedicated staff.

The stove comes set for natural gas but comes with jets for LP. You have to swap jets and adjust the air shutters. The grates just set in place as well as the burner tops. I just got it installed a few hours ago and haven't been on the road. I think I'll have to figure out a way to fasten the grates...

After a couple of shipping delays I finally received my new cooktop. The install was fairly simple. The biggest issue was what to do with the gap in the front of the counter-top. After considerable head-scratching, I decided to fill the void with a shallow drawer. Here's some photos: http://i1095.ph...
