Clay with a Catalyst ?
The previous owner of my BF, left me with a bag of goodies. One item he left was a green colored tube about 3/4 inch dia, 3 1/2 long with a core of separate material inside. The core was the catalyst. You would squeeze/ mix it all together until you had a "ball of clay". Say you poked a ho...

Re: Traveling with a cat
I once saw a trailer in a RV park. They had a fold up wire dog pen w/ a "roof" next to trailer and a way for the cat to get inside, directly from the inside of the trailer. Also stayed in a Motel one time in SF. The neighbor had a cat on a leash. Just like you would walk a Dog, she would w...

Re: Will my Fridge work out of level, on electric only?
Thanks. I have an old iPhone SE. And an app is on my phone. I did not download. Or maybe it came from various updates to my OS. It is called "Measure", and has a "level". Went out and measured my BF. Front to Back: 4 degrees Side to side: 0 degrees. So it looks like with minimal ...

Re: Will my Fridge work out of level, on electric only?
Thanks Tom..
So....from a table I found: 3 degrees = 5.24 % slope
And if my BF is 24 feet x 12"/ft x .0524 slope = 15.1 inch??
What am I doing wrong?
I was trying to figure out how much in inches in elevation my BF could be out of level?

Re: Will my Fridge work out of level, on electric only?
Thank you guys. And for ideas. Anyway the power went out here last night. When the power came back on, the household refrigerator came back on. The freezer works OK, but not the fridge. Dead. Go figure. I will call the repairman. Been really hot here. Records broken

Will my Fridge work out of level, on electric only?

Re: Born Free Logo
Somebody had original BF Decals, they had bought at the BF auction. Can't remember what they had, but they had posted pictures. I looked for this at the For Sale Section, but looks like the For Sale Section has been edited, as I can only find 2 postings.

Re: Did Born Free build a Travel Trailer?
Thanks Tom. Good "eyes"...I missed that.
I see its back on rvtrader.com for sale again.
I think 5000 cheaper than before? But don't hold me to that.

Re: Side window Maxx Air Vent
Another thing I like about mine, you can keep the window open "all the time". I have a stick in the window tract that limits how far the sliding window can open. Don't have to worry about anybody breaking in.

Re: Born Free Sighting
It was still parked there as of yesterday.
Its in Phoenix, OR on Hwy 99, if you are just driving around. Right hand side if you driving towards Ashland.
I looked for a for for sale sign, but no sign.
Oregon Plates. Maybe there is 3 of us, in Jackson County?

Born Free Sighting
Don't see that many BFs in my neck of the woods.
Saw one yesterday, just south of Medford Oregon on old Highway 99 at a RV Repair Shop.
Oregon plates.
Anybody here?

Re: How do I post a "screen Shot" on the Born Free Forum?
I changed my browser to FireFox. A local friend suggested it and it worked. So now I should be able to post pictures
