Re: Sirius Satellite XM Radio antenna location.
Thank you Bill and Steve. Steve the photograph you sent of your antenna is what I was referring to as my (receiver). I found the wire for the antenna but I don't know where my Antenna is, It's not anywhere obvious like yours. I didn't have a lot of time to investigate, your picture should help me lo...

Sirius Satellite XM Radio antenna location.
We recently activated the XM Satellite radio in our 2013 Freedom and our reception is not very good. Does anyone know where the receiver for the antenna is located. I traced the antenna wire from the back of the radio, it goes behind the glove box and into the side wall in front of the passenger doo...

Tom one of our hinges in the same cabinet above our bathroom vanity broke yesterday. The screw that adjusts the spring tension snapped. I found hinges on Amazon that look to be an exact match for $28.86.

Re: No Electricity
Larry, keep us posted as to how you resolve your electrical issues. I'm sure you checked but it's definitely not the disconnect switch inside the door? We had a similar problem several years ago, evidently the switch had been bumped by someone going in and out of the coach. We met someone at our far...

Born Free's in Michigan
Beautiful weather and a born free in Michigan! It was a pleasure to meet folks from new Hampshire in their 2002 born free. We were so glad they went out of their way to stop and say hello. We met by coincidence in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park! We are on the road again, headed home to PA....keep...

Re: Is my 30 amp service plug damaged?
Hello Steve, The owner just stopped by in his golf cart to check on us to see if everything was OK with our electric. He said he built the RV park in 1990 and that his biggest maintenance issue is electric breakers and receptacles. He said they often have guests who put a pig tale on their 50 amp co...

Re: Is my 30 amp service plug damaged?
Steve, we had a similar problem in Berlin Ohio last night. Shortly after hooking up I realized we had no power. When I wiggled our plug in the 30amp receptacle I could hear the contacts crackling. We moved to another site and everything worked fine. First time that ever happened to us, the owners of...

Re: Love a smaller coach
We've been to so many beautiful spots over the years with our children that can only be experienced in a Motorhome. Still enjoy the RV lifestyle as much or more than we did when we started over twenty years ago!! Love the beautiful picture, makes me want to pack my bags.......thanks for sharing it! :D

Re: Dometic refrigerator not cooling.
Roger, I just checked and yes we do have it set on auto. When I ran the generator the propane light on the display panel went out and the refrigerator switched to AC. When the generator was turned off it switched back to propane. I think you're right that the issue's we're having are related to the ...

Re: Dometic refrigerator not cooling.
Roger, I agree it seems like the burner isn't staying lit but when I ran the generator it didn't make a difference. Do you know if there's a way to check if the refrigerator is switching from propane to AC via the generator?
Thank you for your response,
Dave

Dometic refrigerator not cooling.
The Dometic RM3762 refrigerator in our 2013 Spirit is not cooling properly while driving. Yesterday on our way from Indiana to Pa the temperature rose to 58 degrees. After the coach is parked for an hour or so the temperature drops back down to 33. I have already ruled out the following : The refrig...

Re: Winter travel and build info needed
Had you considered a Phoenix Cruiser, we recently sold our 2016 Cruiser when we purchased our Born Free Freedom. I wish I still had the picture I took of the outside temp last year north of Old Forge, NY. it was 18 below and nothing in our Cruiser froze. We spent the prior night in Old Forge, when w...

Re: So what RVs to look at, now that Born Free is gone?
Steve, We had two Born Free's prior to purchasing a new Phoenix Cruiser in 2016. The Cruiser model we had was very similar to the model featured in MH magazine. In two years we traveled over 35,000 miles with the Cruiser with very few issues. The folks at the factory treated us well and they were ve...

Born Free Quality
Several years ago when we owned our first Born Free (2004 24rb.) On our first trip I called Kim to tell him we only had warm water no hot. Kim explained how to adjust the valves at the hot water heater to prevent bleeding the hot and cold lines after winterization. This evening we are staying in Sta...

Re: Window glass replacement source?
On a Journey, I think the 2004rb you are looking at was ours.....we purchased it from Born Free used in about 2009.We were the second owner, the first owner was the only woman to play on both the LPGA tour and the WTA. Ed Newman told us she used the Born Free to travel to her LPGA tournaments. Just ...
