Re: Input for coach absent of Spare tire
Interesting setup, Tahoe! Reminds me of a jeep setup. I like it (except the weight off the back), since we are considering adding a second generator that can roll out of the rear storage and out away from the RV (dry camping noise-proofing), and we'd be adding some material to make a fold-down ramp...

Leak at drains by water heater.
Were going away for a few days and I went out this morning to purge the water lines of antifreeze and found the entire compartment flooded! No time to mess with it until we return but I'm thinking of just cutting lines and just putting plugs in. I've never used any of the drains except the one from ...

Re: Another rear camera install
Russ, I made good progress on my camera install today. I'm way over your 2 hours but I'll get it done. I have the camera mounted and the cable run inside the coach up to the couch. I'll drill and run the rest of the way tomorrow. Do you have any tips on removing the existing rear view mirror. I kno...

Re: Another rear camera install
OOOhhh!! That is on our To-Do list! Now we have another reason to visit our friends in Anacortes. We will need to visit you and get a tutorial on this installation. We will happily treat you to dinner at the Front Street Grill when we head there for some Penn Cove Mussels! :D So sorry for not respo...

Re: Two Flex steel sofas
I'm trying to remember where we bought the runner rug, but I think it was at Kmart. Boxadors all seem to look different but ours is a boxer and golden lab mix. 4 years old today and acts like a 6 month old puppy. Fastest dog by far at the local dog park.

Re: Another rear camera install
Jeff I had a clear shot because BF uses that area to run wires and water lines so it was easy for me. I'm sure every coach is different, but on your model if they use that area to do the same then it should be doable. Not sure how the pantry comes into play though. The one thing I love about BF''s i...

Two Flex steel sofas
IMG_20170127_145703.jpg IMG_20170127_145727.jpg When we bought our BF we thought the factory layout would work for us and although we found that it did work we wanted a better sleeping arrangement. So I removed the 2 captains chairs and the fold out table and installed a second sofa. I used Home De...

Another rear camera install
IMG_20170127_145806.jpg IMG_20170127_145839.jpg IMG_20170127_145914.jpg I've been wanting to do this for a while. I went with the wired system to avoid any signal issues and because it was easy to run the wires. I ran all the wire inside to avoid going under the coach and because I could do it with...

IMG_20170126_140549.jpg IMG_20170126_140615.jpg Here is our spare as done by the original owner. Access to the rear storage is still there and when lowering the rear you have a place to either carry spare items or use as a platform for whatever your needs at the campsite. It is home made but works ...

Re: Restring Shades
I sent them back to the manufacturer and when returned I installed them and they worked perfect. The strings had broken in both and I concidered doing them myself, but had too my other projects in the works. Cost was more than reasonable and time saved was worth every penny.

Re: Why so different than nada prices and why no activity in
Kinda late to the party on this thread, but when I was looking and found our BF I looked at NADA and saw it was much less than the asking price, but after seeing and driving the BF compared to other Class C's there was no comparison. They are worth it, and after owning it for a year and a half I'm s...

Re: The pain of moving
I'm pretty sure they were looking for an extra set of keys hidden somewhere. I have since parked it tight against a building so there is access from only the passenger side. Unless it's a really thin person they can't get in to access the batteries, much less slide the tray out. On the passenger sid...

The pain of moving
Well, we decided to move approx 1000 miles and sold our house in 2 days, one car in 1 day, half our belongings, started a new job, found a place to rent while looking for a small house to buy, all in 23 days. Probably not a world record, but it sure seems like it. From Lake Tahoe to Whidbey Island W...

Re: Sway after installing new tires
Interesting, I have the exact same tires and I've played around with tire pressures some with little affect. I'm still running stock sway bars and thinking of upgrading to bigger bars or maybe start with poly bushings in place of rubber. I have found that I have some issues with sway as weĺl, but si...

Re: Sway after installing new tires
What brand tires did you have on there previously? The biggest things that comes to mind for me are alignment and tire pressures. Assuming the alignment didn't change then you might experiment with tire pressures. Start by comparing the current pressures with the recommended pressures. What is a fri...
