You mentioned that it is a 2000 RB model. Could you be getting moisture in around the rear window that would run down inside the wall and not enter the rear compartment that is fiberglass?

I beg to differ with the recommendation made by Hans. I agree that you may get good use out of a camp ground directory, but I try to avoid KOA's. They are nice but high priced. They have to up their rental fees to pay for all the amenities they have for children. If you are not traveling with kids w...

We wish to thank everyone for their imput. It appears that the consensus is to stay at Cherry Creek Park and utilize public transport. Also, it seems that it would be prudent to schedule arrival in the area on a Sunday. If anyone has any info on another Park in the area, would like to hear about it-...

Washington, DC

We are planning a trip to DC in early spring of 2013. We hope to spend 5-10 days in the area which should allow time to do the Smithsonian. We are wondering if any of you have done this, and if so any recommendations on RV parks? Use a toad or public transportation while there? Any other suggestions...

Bill; You have been very helpfull on this subject. Unfortunately the old addage: "A little information can be dangerous" applies here to me. I know from Sam's previous posts that he has a diesel, this means he has two batteries for the engine. Can he hook up one battery minder to one of th...

I fined this of great interest, as it is the first time I have heard of this happening like this. I would immediately contact the maker of the battery and the retailer that sold the battery for their imput.

I have Direct TV in my home (had Dish before). I take one of the receivers from my home when we use the RV and thus don't have to pay for an additional subscribtion.

I utilize a King-Dome which I had installed in Feb 2008. Have been very happy with it.

About five years ago I broke the string on the same shade (big one behind sofa). I contacted the manufacturer who sent me a supply of string and an instruction sheet on how to restring the blind (at no charge). If you can read, and follow the simple instructions, it can be done in less than one hour...

Looks as if you have pretty well figured it out. Once the tee is installed you do not need to operate any of the valves associated with your propane bottle When you screw on the extension hose, the little nipple that protrudes from the hose coupling, depresses the plate on the Tee's out let. This al...

I installed an Everpure filter with a separate faucet by the sink. I used this filter on a five months trip through Central and South America. Our water source was usually at gas stations, so you can imagine it would not pass inspection in the USA. We and the other four rigs (who also had these filt...

I toyed for some time with hooking cab radio up to house batteries with a switch so as to be able to use either battery source. The more I thought about it the more I questioned the need for the ability to use the truck batteries as well as the house batteries. So, last week I ran a wire from the ho...

I think the Leap'n Lions should consider issuing numbers for members to place on front and back of their units (like the Airstream trailers you see on the road). Then when you spot one of us going down the road you can look in your membership directory and see who it is and where they call home.
