Where is the drain valve(s) for the freshwater tank?
I've looked everywhere and I found plenty of valves but nothing drained the tank.
Is it somewhere underneath the vehicle?

Air Tabs?
Anyone have any experience using 'air tabs' on their rig? I heard from a follow rver that they help with stability in the wind and make a very slight improvement in MPG. This is a photo example I saw on rv.net if you aren't familiar with them: https://www.rv.net/Forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid...

How often do any of you actually use your generator?
Question: How often do any of you actually use your generator? and where? and why? It seems like if I am bookdocking somewhere, it would be forbidden or at least faux pas to run it. Selling: If I decide that I would never really need it, I would sell it. Not sure if I am there yet. I'm not sure how ...

I didn't ask specifically why it would need to be replaced over being cleaned but this mechanic has never steered me wrong. I do think that $800 is a bit high. I'm not sure I have the skills to remove the Genset...plus I don't know where I would store it. I'm just not sure if the cost (even if it is...

To fix or not to fix the GenSet
I have had my rig for over 4 years and I've never really needed the generator. I never used it during that time except to exercise it every month for about 1.5 to 2 hours. It has about 188 hours on it. I had some routine maintenance performed on it when I first got it but other than that it has been...

Water Pump in Hot Water :)
The water pump is turned on. I am not connected to the city. My water reservoir is about 2/3 full. The water heater is on and I felt the tank it and it is warm. I do not see any leaks. If I turn the water on the 'kitchen' sink faucet at a cold temperature setting, no problems. If I move the faucet h...

Winterizing for a light freeze ?
Here in Texas, we don't usually get below 32F for very long in the winter. Maybe 12-24 hours at a time mostly but it can get down to 20F during that time. In an earlier post I mentioned that during these rare incidents, I usually plug the rv into a garage outlet and run a space heater in it to keep ...
