Tire pressure on the door sticker or the tire?
As we all know, the drivers side door info sticker reveals information regarding tire pressure for front/back tires (among other info).
The specs there specify 65psi cold.
But the tires themselves specify 80psi cold.
Which is the better choice?
Thanks

This forum is for Born Free Owners and those interested in owning a Born Free. When I first googled and found this board about 4 years ago, I was grateful to see the phrase: ...and those interested in owning a Born Free because at that time I was in the market for a unit. Some of the most germane fa...

I'm confused here. Isn't this an open forum where people can solicit information/knowledge/opinions from Born Free owners regarding anything from what kind of tires to buy to winterizing to the value of a coach? I have gotten all kinds of useful information from the members on this board, which, had...

In 2010, I bought a 1995 with 77k on it all systems working. The dealer asked 15k, I got them to 13k which was blue book (at the time) but i would have paid 15k for it. It was in great condition and I had a detailed inspection performed by a mechanic and former RV dealer friend of mine. Still, he re...

AmpMeter/Ammeter displaying negative values
Not really sure what this means, although the cabin is getting enough power to run lights, pump, small electrics, etc.

Good shops in the Austin area
My personal experiences only. Bartley's in Pflugerville: Old school shop. These mechanics are the the real deal. I had some steering issues and the muffler worked on. Solid work. Reasonable prices. They don't do much internal or coach work except maybe gensets. RV Outlet Mall in Georgetown: They don...

I've driven by Canton many times. I know that RV spot. :) There's an RV resort that's upwards of $70/night near San Antonio. I've been by there and the amenities (if you really need all that) are not worth half the price. There are other gigantic rip-offs in every state but i wouldn't throw Californ...

It was the fan clutch. Thank for the info. Sorry for the absurdly long response time from me.

Water coming up through the floor near the shower
We took an inpromptu overnighter to a local SP without reservations so as a precaution i fill my Water reservoir about 2/3 full in case we couldn't get full hookups. Anyway... I began to notice water seeping up through the floor near the shower from time to time. Photo1 (it has dried in this picture...

Overheats but only when idling
Not sure what it could be.
I replaced the belts and the belt tensioner; flushed the radiator; replaced the hoses.
I'm about to take it in the the shop. Any ideas?
1995 24RB
Thanks
TomP
