I suggest 120v. I've not seen any 12v that can handle the volume and pressure of truck tires.
Thanks Bill. Can you recommend any makes and models?

I'm in the market for a portable truck tire inflator for my BFT. It can be either 12V or 110V. Any suggestions?

I used the included motorcycle handlebar RAM mount to install a Lowrance IWAY 500C in my 2004 Born Free Built for Two. After replacing the U-bolt that came with the mount with two 1 1/2 inch bolts of the same diameter, I through-bolted the Ram mount with the included long arm to the area just beneat...

24FT handling

I recently drove my 22FT "Built for Two" from the factory in Humboldt, IA to San Diego, CA on mostly freeway through high crosswinds, lots of rain, and heavy truck traffic, and the handling was excellent. I used to tow a small travel trailer and everytime a truck passed me I left permanent...

I don't have a picture of the RAM Mount installed, but according to the installation instructions found at http://www.ram-mount.com/nodrillsystems/pop/ramvb119.pdf the base attaches to the right side of the Driver's seat. As such, it should not interfere with access to the Passenger's seat. Addition...

RAM Mounts makes more cost effective custom vehicle laptop mounts. They make both drill and no-drill models. Those specifically for 1995 and newer Ford Econoline vans can be found at: http://www.expressmounts.com/ford/e-ser ... ehicle.htm

Loosening Hinges

Although I haven't used any yet on my hinges (haven't needed to), I'm sure Loctite makes a suitable "Threadlocker" product that would solve your problem. You can find the exact Loctite product to fit your needs at http://www.loctite.com

No lump of coal in my Christmas stocking

I just purchased the Lowrance iWay 500C from www.gpsdiscount.com. They and other web retailers are selling it for under $650, shipping included. Add in the $100 rebate being offered by Lowrance until 1-31-06, and you're getting a $1000 GPS for a little over $500. Check out the features of the iWay 5...
