Roger, I believe that EACH the normal tow bar and the modification to the Roadmaster Falcon 6000 lbs. rated tow bar were $60, plus shipping. Very nice folks, who offered exceptional service and fast turnaround ~~ I simply took the shank off of our Falcon, and shipped it to them for conversion to the...

Another issue which may give you a jerky feeling while towing and actually cause greater wear and tear on your equipment in the process is the metal to metal nature of most connection apparatus. We had a cushioned bar constructed by the folks at Convert-A-Ball for our Roadmaster tow assembly (see ht...

Mel, It is always nice to have a shop that understands your needs/expectations and will spend the time necessary to do the job right. From all I have heard, the Banks system is well made, improves performance and, after all, who can put a price on a good time :>) I think our passenger side airbag he...

Mel, your setup is what we have considered from afar, but have not, as yet, seriously looked at. Being able to run at 10 lbs. less with a comfortable level of support would be preferable to the feeling we get when we drop ours down to that level. As an aside, when we had our new exhaust system (cat ...

Mel ~~ Normally somewhere between 45 to 55 (depending on how heavy we are loaded), we also vary the tire PSI depending on load, so there are other variables at work as well, but it sure is nice to be able to firm it up for an extra bit of clearance or changing wind conditions. On the downside, we re...

Have used Tire Man http://www.ridgecrest.ca.us/~tire-man/default.html ~~ extensions for 2 years now and am VERY happy with both the front and rear applications. They are all solid brass and very well constructed. With reference to balancing, we have used this product for the past two years and are V...

We wrestled with this issue, including the cost of the BF innerspring, plus crating and shipping, and opted to have a local mattress shop build a new mattress for us, and place same inside of the existing cover. They used 4â€

We have used AMSOIL Signature Series 0W-30 100% Synthetic Motor Oil for the past several years with good results, as far as we can tell ~~ 38,000 miles on coach, and change oil more frequently than AMSOIL recommends (every 3000 miles or so). We have never had to add any oil between changes.

Re: On-the-road Internet connection considerations

WiFi, when it works, is a gift, although one you should protect yourself when using ~~ two products we use and recommend (no affiliation) are: • Security Shield 2008 (http://www.pcsecurityshield.com/lp/security-shield-6.aspx?siteID=M241PF1pr2o-wCbWeAEKyxKt94I1SRGSJQ#features) • WiTopia’s pers...

T-125

Upgraded a couple of years ago to the Trojan T-125 batteries, believe they are the same size or close to the same size as the T-105’s, but with additional capacity. Also put in a watering system (camping world) ~~ would not be without either :>)

Sparkplug and Fuel Filter Replacement

In the same vein, we have developed a surge in our 4K Onan Emerald ~~ caught it with our frequency/voltage monitor ~~ we have about 450 hours on the unit, and religiously change oil and air filters, and exercise unit as advised. Manual suggests that the problem may be fuel filter, sparkplugs, govern...

Fred and Connie Thank you for the heads-up regarding pricing/Wal Mart, the other places we have seen the product are pricing it around $4.99 a gallon, so we will check and see what their price is. In the area behind the shower, we placed tubular pipe insulators on the supply lines and on the rear of...
