Rob, it looks great! Who did your flooring? We would like to remove our chairs and table as well and replace with the twin bed but were told that the standard twin bed frame wouldn't fit in our 2004 RSB because of the placement of the entry door. Now I am wondering about the new swivel passenger sea...

One more thing - sorry, we love Alaska and the trip to get there. If you go to Anchorage, go to the Alaskan Native hospital, I don't remember its exact name, but it is just a little outside of the downtown area. It has the best gift shop for authentic native Alaskan art, done on a consignment basis....

Peter, we did the trip from Michigan to Alaska 4 years ago in our then new BF to meet our new grandson in Fairbanks. It is the best trip we have ever taken, bar none, especially through the Yukon which is so vast and uninhabited and beautiful. Now when we visit our kids in Fairbanks in the summer, w...

Bill, based upon my experience with the 3G iPhone on our last two BF trips, the 3G iPad is number 1 on my wish list for travel. With the 3G iPhone I was able to access the internet any time I had decent cell coverage, which was most of the time. I frequently could search while we were driving and us...

Bill Hemme, i hope my computer doesn't double post this and if it does, I apologize. It is not operator error. We have a 2004 RSB with a Generac and had the same problem. It was traced to a relay switch in the generator compartment that had somehow been switched to off. Generator ran, but did not po...

Larry and Sharon I love the cat picture! We travel with 2 Cavalier dog brothers whose pictures I can't post on the iPhone. Thanks for all of the pictures! We plan where we stay so that our boys are happy and the risks are minimized. Sometimes you get a nasty surprise, however. A few days ago we happ...

Mel, we had Verizon until last fall when I got the Iphone which only uses AT&T. So far I have not noticed less coverage and we are currently traveling.

Very scary. Our 2 dogs travel in crates in the car and behind a child gate in the BF. We don't harness them to the sofa in the BF but should for their safety but at least they can't get into the driving area because they too small to get over the gate. The child gate goes behind the driver and passe...

I forgot to mention the slobber on the windows when the dogs saw BISON (big dogs!) on the road in Yellowstone and Elk in the campgound at the Grand Canyon. Take windex. When they barked at the grizzlies in the Yukon, we put up the shades!

Nancy, I totally agree with Dallas. You will work it out and your trips will be more memorable because of your 2 "kids". We travel with 2 long haired, tick magnet, garbage eating little cavalier king charles spaniels. Hair is everywhere. When traveling, I vacuum twice a day. We have the ca...

Congrats to No. Iowa!

Off topic, but congratulations to all of our friends in Iowa for beating no. 1 in the nation, Kansas!!! Very deserving and incredibly well coached and executed. Even though you have totally busted our brackets, this is way awesome. But, should Michigan State get by Maryland, we will have to be again...

Hi, Sharon. Ditto on using a stabil product when you are storing the rv for a while. We did not know to do this and 2 years ago had to replace the Generac carburetor due to gum up (and a lack of adequate exercise). Now we put stabil in a full gas tank and run the generator to put stabil in it before...

We have the same problem off and on. In the past it has been either the hot water tank valve or one of the shower faucets not totally turned off. Now it is a very slow drip that has developed in the kitchen faucet so check all of your faucets. Good luck - it drives me nuts until I find the source! J...

Replacing Kitchen Sink

After 80,000 miles of cooking and dish washing in our 2004 RSB, the kitchen sink is really stained and scratched. Has anyone replaced a kitchen sink?
