We replaced our Delta with a Winegard Batwing and are far happier ~~ Where did you locate the batwing on your RSB? Do you have pictures? Mike Near the same position as original antenna placement ~~ I will try to take and post a picture tomorrow ~~ the Batwing, when in the lowered position, sits inl...

How does this differ from the line units such as Camping World's surge guard? They seem to also protect from low voltage. I had two bad experienes with low voltage and since using one of these, no problems. The Frank's unit is somewhat like the Autoformer which Camping World sells, in that both uni...

Opted to go with the Frank's Electronics
Mike: Opted to go with the Frank's Electronics booster (http://voltagebooster.com), as it offered greater boost than its competition, and also provides high & low voltage protection ~ the fact that it checks for polarity and ground faults are also nice features. The unit seems well constructed, ...

Cyclo Dual-Head Orbital Polisher
Leroy:
Thank you for your response ~~
There is certainly no dearth of information regarding the unit, and all of the various pads, attachments, etc…. What I was hoping to find, however, was another BF owner who has had specific experience in using the unit on their coach.

Cyclo Dual-Head Orbital Polisher
We are considering the purchase of one of these units to aide in the maintenance of our 2002 RSB’s appearance. Has anyone used same on their BF coach before, and, if so, which of the numerous types of available pads were used, with what level of success? Our coach has only minor chalking on the to...

Mike: Well reasoned response, and basically what our thought process has been. In our recent travels, however, we have found ourselves using a 100 foot, 30 amp cord, plugged into a 15 amp receptacle, when visiting relatives in hot climates ~~ this coupled with our continuous need for AC (two coach c...

Hughes 30 Amp Autoformer
We have been considering the purchase of one of these units for years, but always have been a bit put off by their price ~~ has anyone used one with their coach and, if so, have any comments one way or the other.

JD: As usual, Bill has given excellent advice ~~ another issue to consider when choosing the braking system, is what the specific requirements of your toad are, vis-Ã -vis, the towing process. In our case, (towing a Suzuki X90 4WD), we are required to start and run its engine, with the clutch depres...

JD: Good for you, and each project, taken by itself, and followed carefully to its completion, is not all that difficult, and you will learn from the process. I am unaware of a rating system on various braking units ~~ perhaps someone else on this list is ~~ our choice in braking systems was, to a l...
